October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

3 more days left of work!!!!!! I have to get a lot of things done in those 3 days....but I am determined to get them finished!!!!!

I am getting excited now. Actually, I can't stand the mess in the house. I have bins everywhere for what we are going to take. Can't keep them in the spare bedroom cuz Graci still needs to nap. Then I have clothes hanging on the doors for either ironing or deciding what to take. I need to clean and how do you do it with all the stuff around?

I am so frustrated at "Magical Express". I still have not received my ME luggage tags. My travel agent contacted ME and they were supose to overnight it to me last week and I still have not received them. I called them again and they said it is too late and that I can just leave my claim check numbers with them and they will still pick up the bags, regardless if they do not have the tags on them or not. I am not sure if I trust this theory and am afraid I will never get my bag to my resort. Do I trust her or do I lug 6 bags around with 2 little girls?

Sandy: I hate packing! But, I love traveling!

Sally: It already is Fall here. I want summer back! I still have a bunch of yard work to do. I would love to plant some mums, but not gonna happen.

Awfully gloomy, rainy and cool today. SUpposed to be that way again tomorrow. I am not ready for no sun!

I polished the table today. I also made a paper chain for Kaleigh to countdown the days until school starts.

I know how you feel Heidi....when they say they are going to do something and it doesn't happen how do you trust them to do something else they say they will do. I guess at this point you just have to believe in the Disney Magic....

I planted 5 more mums today....think that is it for this year....It is l0 and it is still 72 out tonight.

I am going to lunch with a friend and then to the movie so won't get a lot done tomorrow.

Good Morning!

I think I am finally feeling better. I have been so tired I have been napping when I get home from work which is something I never do. My cough is almost gone and I finally have energy again....well getting there.

I have been trying to get my Missionette class ready so that is taking up a lot of my time. We start again in 2 weeks then my Sunday's are booked.

Heidi-I had EXACTLY the same thing with Magical Express, they were suppose to overnight the tags to me. We didn't have them. Come to find out they are not as important as you would think. All they do is make it easier for the porters to find your luggage. You give them your luggage claim ticket and they pull them that way. We did not have any problem, I hope you don't either.

Looks like you guys will be in to some rain while you are at Disney next week. The storm should be in Orlando on Wednesday. Good thing rain does not make it cold there. Be sure to bring your Mickey rain coats!

Time to go to work. I will try and post again later.

Barb - glad it worked for you with ME.....I guess I will believe them since you had an okay experience with just using the claim tickets. I will take Sally's advice and trust and believe in Disney Magic.

Okay Stace, in a year when you have something go wrong on your trip and you are stressing out, I will remind you of what you posted.

I forgot to tell you that I totally screwed up all my hardwork that I have done on the stupid magnets. We had a lot of magnets so my dad took theirs to his work to cut them out with the paper cutter and I took mine to my work this morning to use the paper cutter. Well lets just say I can make the magnets but I cannot cut them. I have cut some of the stupid magnets in half, I have cut into the graphic so it looks odd. I hate that stupid thing...and now I hate the stupid magnets. I finally stopped trying to cut them right out of frustration so I guess the ones I didn't ruin I will cut with scissors.......stupid magnets.

Good Morning again!

At work now and feeling pretty excited. This morning when I posted I didn't realize that I really am feeling like myself again. I have engery again and feel like taking on a million and one projects again! I am excited about life. I have been feeling so worn down I didn't want to do anything but hang out at home & watch TV. I am REALLY wishing I was going to Disney tomorrow with everyone.

Heidi- You sound stressed. STOP close your eyes and see yourself on the Magic. You have been waiting sooooo long for this trip. See the water so clear you can see the bottom of the ocean. At Castaway you will be able to see the "Black Pearl" I can see you very relaxed and having the time of your life. NO STRESS!!!

Just read that Costco's 1gb SD card is $45 with a $15 rebate, good till the end of August. I think I will stop by there after work to pick that up.

HI everyone! Sounds like everyone is back feeling better and the rest are getting ready for thier trips!

Heidi, I ditto Barb, RELAX!! Things will be fine. IF things do go wrong, what better place for them to go wrong then at Disney!!!! Disney will make everything better! Trust Magical Express. You'll be fine. More people seem not to get their tags then do! I will be thinking of all of you!! You will have to let us all know when you guys leave. I will be with all of you in spirit!!

Sandy, you sound like you have the packing under control. Even if you think you don't, it sounds like you do. OH yeah, I forgot to congratulate you for your weight loss and "fun money". Good for you!! Take pictures of everyone including you skinny girl you!

Barb, I'm glad you are feeling better. But when you are Super Mom, I guess you nothing gets you down for long. Hey Barb, there are some GREAT sales going on on Disneyshopping.com. Maybe you can get some stuff for Ethan for next summer. They had swimsuits for 2.99 and some PJ sets too!

Denine, it was nice talking to you last night. DId you go shopping online yet???

Well, school is going really go for both! Garry seems to be really LOVING school and Makenzie DOES love it. We got a privacy fence put up in our backyard this past week. It only goes across the back, but boy does it make a difference!!

Hi Jeanne!!! I hope you have all your bags packed or at least almost packed. Did you leave room for me??

Julie, talk about a super mom! I think you have that wrapped up with all that has gone on in your life....you have handled it really well, balanced kids, husband, sickness, school, kids activities, taking care of your home, putting everyone ahead of yourself, and not complained and seem to be up most of the time.

Heidi, once you hit Orlando and the ship you will be fine. I don't think anyone has had the problems Patti did and she said if you are upset that is the place to be. Remember it ended up costing her twice as she was paying for all her families tickets and they missed the plane because there wasn't anyone at the gate and they made her buy tickets again for $3500. Then some of her family couldn't get on the plane because of a mixup going home because of missing the plane in the first place so they had to stay over until the next day and didn't have a room to stay in so they bunked with Patti and Ken. And still she had a great time. I would have been pulling my hair out...good old "Delta". I had problems with them twice so I won't fly with them anymore.

Going to get ready and have a fun day with my friend.....

Julie: I haven't made it to Disneyshopping.com yet. I did tell Jerry about the kuggage though. He was going to see if he could look at it while at work. I will probably have to wait until this evening.

Heidi: Stupid magnets! RELAX!

Sally: It just says in the teachers manual to start towards the end of September so the holidays match up. I just picked a day.

I did my treadmill today. Didn't lose any weight, but didn't gain any either after all of our bad eating.

I have to go to PT this afternoon. We will see if this helps. That means no nap for Kaleigh.

Tomorrow we are going to the Geauga County Fair. It is the last fair of the year and the biggest and oldest. Gotta get more kettle corn!

I got my wine party set up for November 4th. That should give all of you time to make plans to get here!

Julie- I love reading your posts because it is exactly where I was a few years ago. Soccer, school, leader of 2 girl scout troops, cookie Mom, room mother, president of the PTO, secretary of 2 bowling leagues, 4 kids, wedding flowers, I still wonder how I ever did it. But once you are like that let me tell you friend it never stops. If I am not involved in a million things I am looking. I love being busy. I thrive on being productive. So hang on Julie you are in for the life long crazy schedule!

Speaking of room mother, every year I would sew halloween goodie bags and Christmas stockings for the kids class rooms. This year I am going to make them for Tiffany to hand out to her dorm. She also has a "Brother Dorm". I am excited to get to do it again. Thought I was going to have to wait until Ethan was in kindergarden. Between Tiffany and my Missionette girls I will have about 50 to make. Didn't realize how much I missed doing things like that. Can't wait to go to Joanne's and get the material.

Denine- What is a "Wine Party" that sounds soooo fun.

I guess I am way stressed and want everything to be PERFECT since it is the girls first time on a plane, first time at WDW, and first time taking a vacation with their Daddy and I want it to be special for the girls and Chris. Heck, this is Chris's first vacation since his honeymoon with the girls's mom and that was over 9 years ago!!!! I don't want anything to ruin it and I won't let anything ruin it....not even stupid magnets or paper cutter.
