October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Gosh, Jeanne. It seems like all you are doing lately is have luncheons and dinners. My meals out consist of fast food or Armadillo. Poor me! You are sweet about wanting to be next to Ted and I. Well, it is a cabin away still.

Let's see..... Where in the World is Waldo, mean Denine. It is 3 her time. Kaleigh is just waking up from a much needed nap and they are headed over to Epcot for dinner. After that it wil be Magic Kingdom for Wishes. Oh, how I can't wait to see that again!

Hi there!

Been having a horrible day!!!!! First, Makenzie came into our room at 12:45am and climbed into bed saying she had a nightmare. Then shewoke up at 3am saying her stomach hurt and she was afraid of some noise. Woke up at 4:30am to get Garry up for work and he (because of Makenzie be bopping around) didn't get much sleep so he decided to go in an hour late. The at 5:30am I went to get him up and he decide one more hour. SO, at 6:30AM I got up and got him up, went downstair to the aroma of POOP! Here Brooke had messed in her sleep. The smell was so bad I woke her up to change her. It was the waterworks!! That woke her up and then the Big Guy woke up and then Makenzie. Makenzie who kept saying her stomach hurt and her throat. So,got Garry off to work by 8am and 3 poopy diapers later, Brooke throws up! I get Makenzie ready for school and call her friends mom to come pick her up since I didn't want to risk taking Brooke anywhere. Well, After I do all this Makenzie starts crying saying she doesn't feel good and her throat and stomach really hurt. SO, I call the mother and tell her to forget it,call her in to school and change 2 more messy diapers. At 9:45am Brooke throws up again. I called the dr's to get Makenzie looked at because she gets strep so easily. pack all the kids into the car and go to the dr's to find out Makenzie is ok. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

So, after 4 more messy diapers, no sick Makenzie, I've done nothing all day!!The dr said Brooke probably has the Norwalk virus and that all of us should get it within the next few days. NICE!!!!

Where's Denine......... probably on their way to EPCOT. They seem to spend thier evenings there.

Almost time for American Idol. I still love Taylor but don't think he will be around much longer. He does have a huge fan base though. They interviewed Ace on our local tv because he is from around here and he said that he would like to see Elliot win. Interesting!

Julie - sounds like you had a horrible day, I think you need some hugs and pixie dust. I hope the rest of you don't get the norwalk. Hope your day is better today.

I am so tired, Chris kept me away snoring and on top of that I am taking allergy medicine that makes me so sleepy even though it is non-drowsy. In an hour I may be drooling and asleep on my desk!!

Got 150 mints made last night for my Mother Daughter Tea Party. I have to finish up the poster boards and shop.

This Saturday starts my crazy rest of the month. One event after another. I am so worried about no one coming to the graduation party because it is on Memorial Day. Most of my family is not coming hope some friends come.

Bought a new shower curtain, towels, shelf for the girls bathroom. It is all painted and looks great. We did the bathroom in yellow rubber duckies. I still need the rubber duckie trash can and a rug.

Hope Kathrine doesn't get booted off American Idol. She is my favorite but she has had 3 "Soso" weeks. I think it will be Elliot. I really like him though.

Bob comes home in 10 days!!

GOOD MORNING or should I say to Julie "What a morning!!!!!!" Nothing worse than sick kids. Isn't there something they can give the rest of you so that you all don't have to get that virus? Here is a group hug

Waiting for the washer to be repaired (the agitator went) but I am going out to dinner again tonight to this great Italian Restaurant called Giamarellas. I do have to work the rest of the week! Last night all they kept doing was bringing MORE food - it started with appetizers of fried calimari, fried peppers & brushetta, then some kind of garlic pita, soup, salad, then my veal entree (which I took two bites & asked for a doggie bag). I was stuffed but not too stuffed to have the chocolate mousse & coffee for dessert!

Where's Waldo? Oops I mean Denine! It is 10:00 AM so I am sure she is in one of the parks by now but which one?

HI there! Well, today is a repeat of yesterday! Garry did go to work on at 6am today. Got Makenzie up,she said that she felt ok and went to school. At 12:30 the Big Guy said he didn't feel good. He didn't even finish his lunch. Brooke on the other hand is feeling a lot better. She ate some lunch and then went into her bedroom, climbed into bed and went to sleep. The Big Guy said again that his stomach hurt. I told him to lay on the couch and try not to move around much. At 1pm the school calls. Makenzie is in the clinic and said she has a head and stomach ache. She gets on the phone and tells me that she has gone to the bathroom 4 times this morning and wants to come home. SO I ran up to the school and her, came home and The Big Guy throws up! NICE!!!! He then goes into the bathroom and of course HE'S got the runs! I have washed my hands soooooooooooooooo much the last few days. I spray lysol all around to try and kill these germs. I feel soooooooooooo bad for these kids. Brooke feels better today, Makenzie is riding the fence of being sick or just feels she needs attention ( I can't figure her out yet, I'm sure she will get this eventually!) and The Big Guy is having a real rough time of it right now.

Well, I've gotta go. The Big Guy is calling!

Where's Denine...... probably back at the pool right now.

Well, I think it is dinnertime for Denine. Of course, somewhere in Epcot!

Had a very terrific lunch with Stacey and the babies. They were perfect angels at lunch. I was very proud of them. Stacey is a good mom and it is fun to watch her prepare the table and high chairs for a lunch out. Then we went back to her house to play with the babies. It was a fantastic day!

Julie, unfortunately, as much lysol you spray and as many times as you wash your hands, I bet the norwalk will hit every one of you. Keep lots of ginger ale around......and tp!

Barb, how did the mints turn out? I still want to make them. The girls birthday was always a challenge because of Memorial day. I understand what you are going through with graduation! This Mothers Day will be spent on the Estate Sale and a college graduation......whoopee?!

I really hate to see anyone leave American Idol now. I just don't want to guess but Barb is right. Kat's last couple of weeks have been so-so. It might just be Elliot, tho.

Have to run. Ted and I are headed out to the cemetary to decorate our mom's graves for Mothers Day.

Well, let's see, the big guy has thrown up three times, Makenzie HAS strep and has now thrown up and it is a possibility that she MIGHT have MONO!!!! Will it ever end?????????????????????????????????????????


Makenzie came home from school feeling ill. She went and took a nap for about an hour and a half. She woke up saying her throat, head and stomach really hurt. She kept saying she really had a sore throat. I called the dr's office to see if the re-test had come back yet or if I could just bring her in for another quick test. Well they said the dr will re-look at it and call me back. He did and said that it was strep and that if she doesn't feel better in 24hrs to bring her in and they will test for the mono virus since her test results weren't typical. SO............ Gotta love my house right now!!!!


At least Brooke is feeling much better.

Oh-oh Julie, it sure does sound like mono. Oh my, she is so young. I was in 7th grade and can't remember for Heidi but I believe it was 6th. Do you have any Calgon?

Sandy, I WISH I had some Calgon!!!!!!

I was 15 or 16yrs old when I had mono. I know I was in high school when I got it. I was a sophmore or junior I know.

Hopefully everyone will go to bed and stay in bed!

This hasn't been a good two days!

American Idol in about 10 mins. I think that Kathrine will be going home even though Garry and I feel she has the best voice. I would like to see Chris go. To me his songs didn't do much for me. I thought Elliot did a super job! We shall see...........

OH MY GOSH, I AM IN SHOCK THAT CHRIS WENT HOME !! ​

I didn't see it coming and neither did he. I wanted him in the beginning but I think that he got a little too confident and his "hard" rock wasn't keeping my interest. But.....I think that he will go far because he does have talent. I have been leaning towards Taylor or Kat but I still like Elliot. I can't make a decision. Taylor really isn't for the teens and young adults and I think that is who the show is geared towards.

Julie, you had mono, too? Man, I guess that stuff gets around. Hmmmm, I was young and they thought it was from a drinking fountain. Now, ummm, you were in High School....where did you get it???

Mom - be careful because I had mono in high school too!!! I was a sophmore in high school when I got mono and it was at the end of the year. This sounds so bad but the entire wrestling team was sick with mono as well, my boyfriend at the time was on the wrestling team. That stuff sucks.

Hang in there Julie, sounds like it may be a rough few weeks for you.

I can't believe Chris was kicked off, he was my favorite and I really thought he would win. And I was soooooo happy about who got eliminated on Amazing Race.

Very cute pictures Heidi! How fun camping. We are having our "1st Annual Family Camping Trip" in July. Michelle's parents are going too. It should be fun! We will officially be a joined family in July!

I have a headache today. I tried to take off this afternoon but was not able to get off I am running out of time to get done everything. Tomorrow is set up & shopping day for the Mother Daughter Tea. I have 30 napkin rings done, 4 poster boards and will finish the last one tonight, the invitations and the name tags were hand made and are all done, I am working on the table arrangements and I made 150 mints. Hope the Mothers enjoy it. Once this is over the next thing is graduation. I have several things to finish for that one too.

Mono! Blah!!!

Do you remember when Jaymee came down with Mono a week before we were suppose to leave for the 2002 Cruise were we all met? The doctor told us that if she didn't get better in 2 days she would not be able to leave town. Do you remember that? Man that was the pits.

Julie- I feel for you. Having a sick child is bad enough but having multiple is horrible! At least they will be all over this and totally healthy for you Disney Vacation in June. Pixie Dust to the Lauter Family!!!

Guess who I just got off the phone talking to?????? Waldo, wait, I mean Denine and Jerry. It was soooo much fun talking to them. They had just survived a HUGE downpour at Epcot and were heading back to get dry socks and throw their tennis shoes in the dryer. Now that is RAIN!

Barb, I completely forgot about Missy getting sick right before the cruise. Man, that was unbelievable!

Ted and I are headed out in a couple of hours for the official Estate Sale. We advertised in a couple of newspapers so it could get a little hectic. Won't be back on until Sun pm or Monday. We need to get rid of the furniture more than anything. Wish us luck!
