So this is our second Disney cruise on the Dream and we are less than a month away! I just found out about this whole FE thing. Is it too late to join the fish exchange? Please let me know! We really want to join, but if it is too late please let us know! Thanks!

So I just read through the last few pages of this thread and noticed that I answered my own question! I guess the FE closed in the beginning of September. If we can be added last minute we would love to join! But totally understand if it is too late!

We also have two other people traveling with us Diana and Jimmy in cabin number 5168 who are celebrating their anniversary!

Hi Amy,
The FE list is officially closed, We had the September 1st cut off to allow people the chance to get ready. I am really sorry. I know I have a few extras so if you want to put out a FE, I am happy to add a little pixie dust!

That is what I thought But I understand! I purchased an FE last night already, so we will put it outside the 6672 cabin and we will also share some pixie dust anyways even though it will not be "official pixie dust"!

The packing has begun! We leave for Florida Oct. 11 after the kids get off the bus.

We're packing too I'm just finishing our extenders then one last pay day on Thursday to get the last of our $$$$$ then we're all set

I have everything in a big pile ready to go to the suitcase! I am trying to decide one big one, or two little. Ah love when that is the only problem I encounter in a day!

I finally got to put together my FE gifts today , lay out clothes to pack, and imagine not being at work!

Finally told the school today we'll be MIA. :

And I'm even going to admit--I marked your cabins on a map of the ship to get ready to deliver the goods!

I am so excited! Its been a long few weeks. I am really looking forward to getting away! We are leaving Wednesday night. Exactly 2 weeks from now I will be dragging the kids out the door on the way dinner!

Why are the last few weeks before a cruise, or any vacation for that matter, SO LONG?!!. Two weeks from now I'll be finishing my packing and making sure the rest of the family has what they need to survive without me for a few days. I live near Daytona Beach, so I'm picking up my friends and sister at MCO after dropping the kids off at school. For there its straight to the port!

There has been no organized talk of a meet as of yet. I know we are so bad about going, because one I let the kids in the pool its so hard to get them out. I am open to a meet up anytime during the cruise though!

I have never organized or been to a Dis meet. Has anyone ever done one? Where do they usually meet? I'm all over going if we can get a group together. I will make an effort to drag who ever is not in the pool or on the aqua duck with me. If no one else from my clan joins me I would be happy to show up any way.
