3:45 pm next Fri the van service will be at out house to get us to the airport....

I sure have a lot to do this weekend

Only 3 more days of work after today though! DS5 had a kid in his Kindergarten class fall in the room the other day & broke his elbow, so needs a cast. Another fear of mine! Warned the kids to take it easy for the next week!!

When we were kids, my sister broke her wrist shortly before we left for our first trip to Florida but with enough time that I don't remember her being in a cast when we were there. I, on the other hand, required 6 stitches in my big toe right before that same trip and wasn't allowed to swim in the ocean. I am right there with you. For the next week, I don't even want any of us to leave the house!

One week from today I will be flying to FLorida - WOOHOO!!!

Okay fliers, I will wave at every airplane that flies over us on Friday so keep a look out your window for a dark green minivan on I-95 with waving arms.

A week from today we'll be in Denver waiting for our connecting flight to Orlando!!

A week from right now we will be leaving Sacramento heading to Vegas for a stop before Orlando. I have never been to Florida before, so I am excited to see a small part of it as we drive from MCO to the port.

I started my kids taking half a packet of Emergen C today. As they complained I explained that they CANNOT get sick this week as I want to enjoy this vacation. I will be giving them 1/2 packet for the next 2 weeks.

I think I have purchased everything I need to and want to get us all packed up today.

I hope this week goes by fast.

Kim - Our pocket is probably just a hair smaller than 8 inches, but probably can fit something if it hangs out some.
BTW.. I used a heavy straw as our dowel, since our FE ended up being closer to 9 inches and I didn't want to let it hang over into the hallway.

All - Next Friday at this time we should be in EPCOT eating round the world. So I will wave at every plane that flys over. I have been drinking Emergen-C as well so hopefully we will all be healthly our our trip.

Laura very ironic you ask that. By a great chance of luck I was. DW company CEO, Who is a Cardnails fan, could not go yesterday and put out a emailto anyone who wanted his ticket for free. DW raced to his office and got it for me. What a game. It was great. I almost lost my voice cheering for the Dodgers and joining in on the heckeling of the the Giants fan in our section. Nothing more I hate in the baseball world than the Giants. The Yankees are a very close second. Well off tho Disneyland. Today is my last day off before my last four days of work before I peice together my way to FL Wed.

ok, so I broke down and went to a tanning salon at lunch today. The weather has turned now and my summer tan is fading fast. I don't want to burn on the ship so I'm going to try to keep my base tan going...

Hi Monica - I will send you the latest list of FE participated list, twinsr241 is listed in there with stateroom and family. She got in touch we me.

Now I have to figure how to pack my FE gifts.

I hope everyone had a great week. I have so much to do this weekend to get ready I don't really know where to start. I guess I should probably pack and figure out what I am missing.

I got the pillowcases from atinkerbellmom for my boys today. With those and the gift baskets from Shirley they will be so excited. It is starting to seem real. Two weekend days and two and a half days of work and we are on our way!!

Our family is flying. The thought of driving to me is like fingernails on a chalkboard. We drove to WDW in 2007. I'm good for like at least 10 years before we do that again. Yes, I am pathetic. I will be very happy 37,000 ft in the air.

I wish we lived close enough to drive...personally I don't care for flying that much. Also, I was just getting my info together before we leave, and when I double checked my car rental confirmation, Budget more than doubled the price of the van so now I have to call them and find out what the heck they are doing to my reservation

I had a dream that we only remembered to bring 1 suitcase and I woke up with a panic!!

I just booked a day room at the Orlando Hyatt. $100 and we have the room from 10am-6pm. Our flight leaves at 6pm

I had a dream that we only remembered to bring 1 suitcase and I woke up with a panic!!

I am up bring and early because I had a dream that I got to the stateroom which was the size of most "loveboat" cabins and fell asleep. I awoke look out the porthole and the ship was moving. I missed our DIS meet, missed the drill and missed the sail away party. Our room was so messy, I couldn't find the navigator anywhere to tell us where to go.

I know that can not happen, because they will not let us miss the drill.

getting ready to head out to Walmart and Target to pick up some last things for the trip...can't believe how close it is getting! We'll be at the terminal at this time next week...woohoo!!
