NCJenn - I went through the same Panic that you did, even though I received a confirmation from our TA as an email (one she typed up, not a DCL one). On the morning of the 91 day I paniced. "what if she didn't pay it?" "what if there was some problem?". I called DCL and they told me that by choosing a Travel agent, you have selected them to deal with all your finances so you would never see anything on the website dealing with finances, so you have to have trust in them. So I was so happy to see Palo and Excursion buttons pop up on the 90th day.

I am not sure if this is true or not, but once you pay in full, you should be able to then complete your online checkin. Not sure if you can only do that after the 90 or 75 day mark or just after you pay in full.


Hopefully it is just an unfounded panic you are having now.

ok, I'm starting to calm down...TA called and said she called DCL to confirm payment received, etc. DCL says yes, payment received and balance is zero. She then faxed me the DCL paperwork that they faxed her showing payment received and a zero balance. DCL says it is my credit card holding up the posting of it, not them. Whatever...as long as DCL shows it is paid I feel better. I think I can now breathe again and will anxiously await a few more days til I can get online and sign the kids up for the clubs, etc.

Thanks for letting me vent and panic for a few minutes!!

Glad to hear that all cleared up! I know it's panicking not knowing if the payment has been posted or not.

I did pay in full today, too. I made sure with DCL after applied it online. Now I am all ready to go!

Also, in regards to the new cruise website, the thing I like is how you can put in a stateroom number and see where it is from the top view and side view of the ship. It really helped me to put things in perspective, as far as where our stateroom will be located.

I didn't know you could do that. I'm going to take a look right now even though I know where our rooms are. It's just fun, right? I have only visited the new site to see if the price of our cruise has changed since we booked over a year ago. Not yet. I could have booked this cruise last night and the price would be almost the same. Of course, we wouldn't have almost $400 in OBC that we got when we booked onboard.

Good luck for those waiting for the 75 day mark!! Roll call?

Took my first shower today. It was a quick one. Standing up doesn't feel great. I kept my back to the water afraid of hurting the front. I have some swelling in my upper abdomen and stomach area that is a little bothersome.. hoping that goes away soon. I am a good deal more mobile, but still not great. Can't wait for Monday to have stitches and this other drain out! I'mheading back to the couch for another nap!

NCJenn - I had the same panic this week. The TA was supposed to put the balance on the cc on Mon. Last week she processed the gift cards & sent me an e-mail when that was done. So, I was expecting the same thing on Mon, but nothing from her. Sent an e-mail to her Tues to see if it went thru w/ no problems & it was set to go. It does take a few days for the pending charge to go thru & see it on the cc.

I'm sitting here trying to decide on the shore excursions so I can book them tomorrow night! Having trouble deciding - just doing them in GC & Coz, but there's a few I like in each. Is there a place to see what times they're offered now before I have to book? I was thinking I may do 2 in GC, but want to see the times. I was on the new site yesterday, but need to go back & do some more exploring!

Have fun, Laura! Are you making something? Is it a surprise?

I'll tell all the FE folks right now, I am not, at this point, inclined toward creativity. I've dabble but nothing's ever come of it. But, you never know. I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 40, and even though I can cook and bake a lot of things, I only ever made a sunny-side up egg for the first time this summer. Maybe, my creative streak hasn't hit yet.



How are you Penny? I hope you are taking it easy and that you'll be ready tomorrow for the doctor to take the drains and the stitches out.

I'm staying up late to see how the 75-day people make out. Good Luck!

Just a little more than 3 hours before the 75 day mark, so have your computer's ready. I will be up too Monica, but it will only be 9pm here, I am sure I will have something critical to work on for work tomorrow.

As for the FE, I actually was getting the items to make the no Sew Fish extender. Monica, I am right with you not on the doing something crafty. I have lots of desires to try something, but never seem to accomplish what I set out to do, given my critical eye. We will see, I have the instructions that are pasted on the main forum, but the FE seems like it will be very small, but maybe it is all relative since the rooms are all small.

As for what I have planned for FE gifts, is still very much up in the air. It will be small and probably not at all a craft item (you will all thank me for that). DD7 has a great idea of the kids, which would be really good for the sale away part, but unfortunately not sure we can get these all out on the first day. But any young child would having it. That I will keep for a surprise, since it is something DD7 and I have to make and that takes us back to my point above... I never seem to be able to finish what I started when it comes to crafts.

I have decided what ever I do, I will be sending a box ahead to the ship and will contain my FE and FE gifts. Does anyone know how many days ahead of our cruise it should be shipped?

Right now there are 13 DIS Families participating in FE. (18 kids of various ages)

They do not. In fact, they aren't even digital --- or lighted! They are the propeller clocks as shown here on you tube.

I purchased one in the gift shop during our last cruise to bring home!

Thanks Angie - Bummer on the clock, since we are schedule to be in an inside stateroom. I thought they might have upgraded after the last dry dock, but it is a cool clock neverless.
