As for the QOTD: I would have to say my camera. I am planning on taking soooooo many pictures, and we have a "underwater case', which will just be awesome for our scuba diving excursion!

At this very moment, dh is building his own casing for his camera. He designed it himself. It's not pretty but knowing him it will work.

I like Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series - they are a great series if you liked the supernatural component of the Twilight books. If you want more romance in your supernatural reading, try Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books.

Thanks... I have a copy of the first Sookie book, so I will take that, but will probably need to find a couple of more as I can go through books quickly. Honestly I am not into supernatural and/or romance, but with everyone talking about these books, I wanted to be in the know.

Let's see, if it can't be the important things you listed and it can't be something I could buy on the ship or in a port that narrows it down quite a bit. The only thing I can think of is my contact lenses and eyeglasses.

Here here. I will probably bring an extra pair of contacts, just in case. Reading one trip report where the DH lost his contact down the drain in the stateroom. They never did find it.

For this cruise, it has to be my new Panasonic Lumix TS1! I researched waterproof cameras for months and I'm so happy with my decision... can't wait to try it out!!!

Yes.. DH just picked up either this one or Olympus one at Costco last spring. He has been playing with it for a while.

This is the reason that I bring mine. I take a lot of pics!!!

I would love to, but don't need the extra carry on weight and since mine is for work, I would rather leave it at home. Too bad every single camera in our house uses a different memory card. I have 2 memory cards for my camera a 2G and 4G and there is probably a 256M that came with the camera (why do they do that?), so maybe I will get another one from costco just for the trip.

Where will you be diving AnkaG??

we will dive at cozumel. There are 2 places we can dive, but in cozumel we do 2 dives, and Grand cayman it's one long dive. personally, because DH and I are still beginners, I prefer to dive twice for shorter dives.

I wasn't able to find much info on the dive shops that provide the excursion, the only thing I found was unfortunatly a bad review in terms of the equipment in cozumel. Hopefully it was just one bad luck one person had...

do you dive? have you, by any chance done any of the dives with the cruise?

I would figure it will be based on the closing price, but I'm totally guessing. Assuming DCL doesn't call to offer me an upgrade (not holding my breath), whether or not we're paying the fuel surcharge will determine whether or not I'm willing to cough up $400 to upgrade to a cat 7.

We are doing:

Mon High Tea
Tues Dinner - 6pm Seating
Thurs Brunch - 11am Seating

We will be swing alot of each other at Palo. We are doing the Tea on Monday, and Brunch at 11 on Thursday. Here is the shocker. We are not doing the dinner because we don't find it all that good (at least not to pay for it) and mis out in the dining rooms. We think the food in the dining rooms for dinner is just as good as Palo. I know it seems strange. Just our opinion.

We are all ready - just waiting for the luggage tags from Disney. That's it! Okay, I say paperwork ready & printed too .. but still need to pack. This weekend, we take out the suitcases and Lock and Load ha ha ha ...

What is left? Let me see. Disney is taking me from MCO to SSR. Disney is taking me to the port and back. Disney is taking me from AKL to MCO. Paperwork printed. Waiting on tags. I guess packing. I leave the 14th. I will pack when I get home from work on the 13th. Well since I fly stand by, I guess I just need to try to figure out what flights to take. I really can't think of anything. Oh I will not be at the meet as that is my tractional rest/nap time before the drill I will be in Rockin Bar D from like ten on sitting at the bar if anyone wants to say hi. If the Dodgers are on T.V. then I will be in diversions all Dodgered up. Come and say hi.

Online check-in is about it. I will also be either changing rooms or changing hotels since we won't need a 2-bedroom suite. Our in-laws booked their flights through Disney and are arriving the morning of the cruise.

Towncar to port - check, but just need to confirm

Still need to do packing, paperwork printing and putting everything in one place.

Once we went to the airport and forgot our WDW annual pass's. Had a friend pick them up and drive the to the airport. It is a 30 minute one way trip to the airport.
