to teh board and cruising and trying to catch up. I have no idea how to personalize my posts but we are a family of 3 coming in from Texas. My 3 year old son is very social and loves to play with other kids.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
and we're off!!! the van is packed and we are heading out the door for WDW this afternoon. We are going to Pop Century for 12 nights (with Free Dining) and then on to the cruise. We'll be the ones on the cruise that are walking around like zombies since we will already be tired out, but at least we'll be tan from the Florida sun. See you then!
DP, DS28 and me, are leaving 1 week from now. Renting a house with pool for 1 week. Going to MKNSSHP. DH arrives on the 16th. Can hardly wait. Bags are mostly packed. I have had those suitcases out now for 2 months and have packed and unpacked them a dozen times. What is there is there! All ironed and arranged. I know it's not smart to iron them all, after the plane ride they will need pressing again. Straight flight though and only 2 1/2 hour flight. How messy can they get, right? Since we are performers, we have a very busy weekend ahead. Then work for 4 days and away we go.
Hi everyone,
We just booked our 1st Disney cruise a couple of days ago and will be sailing with you guys on the 17th.
I only have 2 weeks to research and planI feel so far behind.
The trip with consist of myself, my mother, and my 2 kids-Isabelle age 6and Danny age 4
We will be leaving my husband and 1 1/2 year old at home for this trip. Hoping to go with them in 2011 when my youngest turns 3.
We are flying in from California and my kids are so excited about this trip. We had originally planned to go to Hawaii and just changed our plans this week. So I am scrambling to learn about the ports, ship, and how to make magnets.
My kids are very outgoing and love playing with other kids, so I don't know if I will see them this whole cruise. I don't think they will want to leave the club.
If anyone has any tips or advice for me for this last minute trip I would love it. Also, if anyone has similar aged kids, I would love to hear from you.
Hope to meet some of you on board.
Has anyone booked any spa treatments yet? I booked DH a massage today for the first morning, before we get to key west. Is there something he might be missing with an 8am massage (other than sleep or food)?
Laura
Hi Kristi!
Welcome to our group! We are also from Northern California (near Sacramento) and are flying into MCO on Friday the 16th. My DD will be 6 in Jan and my DS will be 4 in March, so pretty close in ages to yours!
We are so excited and can't wait to see what awaits us on the boat. I've been planning for over a year, but it really all comes down to these last 2 weeks anyway.
Our plans are:
Key West Day - take the trolley or walk around on our own
Grand Cayman - Pirate Encounter - looks like a fun little excursion and not too pricey.
Cozumel - not sure yet. Either find a good beach or spend much of the time back on the boat enjoying the pools, etc.
Have fun getting ready and we'll see you in 2 weeks! Note, our group is meeting the first day at the Promenade lounge at 3pm..would love to see you there!
Kim
Any Pixie dust recently?![]()
I just checked the site and not as many open rooms as in the past week.
Cat 9 - at least 8 available
Cat 8 - 7 available
Cat 6 & 7 : GTY
Cat 5 - 5 available
Cat 4 - 8 available
I still will be trying at the port to upgrade if it is a resonable cost.
Laura
Please forgive my ignorance here, but if you want a upgrade, why wait for the port if you are willing to pay for it? I don't get it. Please do not take it the wrong way, I am just trying to figure out why wait for the port.
Port upgrades are notably cheaper than upgrading in advance.
