Anyone else here from the Oct 17th 4-night Wonder cruise?
Did you hear what happened with the power outage when we docked back at Port Canaveral?
We were watching the docking activities from our balcony when the 2nd forklift to enter the hull came back out and ran into a thick, black cloud of smoke. The driver yelled "What the hell was that?" and then the fire alarms inside the hull started going off.
A few seconds later we lost all power in our stateroom for about 30 seconds. Did a forklift hit a power line down in the hull? Did someone plug in the power from the port incorrectly? All forklifts stayed out on the dock for a good 15 minutes before they resumed their unloading of the ship.
The problem must of affected the galley as well, because at breakfast there was a short delay before they could provide any hot food. The servers did an exceptional job keeping everyone happy with fruit and pastries until the hot stuff arrived.
Anyone hear what really happened?
