Greetings to All Of You!!!!!
Anyway, my name is Tara (39) & my husband's name is Allan (43). Due to legal reasons, I am unable to post any information about our "new" daughter except that she is of elementary school age. I am a stay-at-home mother, which I am loving every minute of it along with being a full-time college student with Liberty University Online majoring in Paralegal Studies. My husband is a retired Naval Officer and is currently working as a contractor for the military.

Hi Tara! Welcome! Congratulations on your new daughter - that is so cool!

We have a few things in common: my husband in a retired Army officer who works with the military and he is getting a Master's degree through LU online too. I'm also a stay-at-home (schooling) mom of teen agers.

Paid for flights and cruises etc yesterday... still need to organise travel ins and park tickets etc, but at least a couple of things are now tickked off on my list!

We are trying to figure out what our plans are. We have cruise, flight and travel insurance paid. We still need 1 more Universal Ticket and buy our Disney tickets. I do not think we are going to do any ADR. Her is our plans...

14th- arrive at 2 pm, swim at hotel and do the Boardwalk Hotel
15th- Universal
16th- Cruise
17th- Cruise with Sheridan day pass
18th- Cruise
19th- Cruise
20th- Halloween Party at WDW
21st Epcot

My BFF Kim got us hooked on Disney BIG TIME 2 years ago back in 2009. My husband & I joined the Disney Vacation Club in September of 2009 with our home resort being the Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. This is our 2nd Disney cruise. Our 1st Disney cruise was last year aboard the Disney Wonder for the DVC Member cruise.

I am really excited about this cruise & are looking forward to getting to meet all of you!!!!!

We are DVC as well since 2004 SSR and BLT.

Has anyone been to Versailles Gardens on Paradise Island, Bahamas? If so, how did you get there? Is it near Atlantis?

We are trying to figure out what our plans are. We have cruise, flight and travel insurance paid. We still need 1 more Universal Ticket and buy our Disney tickets. I do not think we are going to do any ADR. Her is our plans...

I'm still adding the final touches to our schedule but it is very similar to your schedule. We fly in on 14th and leave on the 23rd. We are going to Universal Island of Adventures (to see Harry Potter), Halloween Horror show at Universal (went to MNSSHP last year), one Disney park (not sure which one at this time), Hot Air Balloon ride over Orlando, Sting rays at Castaway Cay, and some sites at Nassua (still research ideas).

Hi everyone! I know I have been off for a while but I have been very sick and in the hospital.

Our marathon summer has finally slowed down.

Cub scout day camp went out with a bang. I was the medic and had to send two kids to the hospital.

VBS...only happened for two kids...Robert decided he needed the stomach virus that visited memorial day weekend.

My doctors are really on my case to slow down and take better care of myself. My neurologist got onto me and threatened to put me in the hospital because I had been overdoing it...a week later...I was in the hospital with heart problems but am doing much better now.

I am not going to get to go on the mission trip because we do not have anyone to keep the two youngest kids while DF works, but Sean is...plus I don't think my Dr would approve it right now.

An interesting note...Extreme Home Makeover is in my hometown this week for a young girl who was hit by a pick=up truck saving her sisters life.

I hope everyone is doing great.

I went to Hobby Lobby today to get the material needed to make our Fish Extender. Spent $30. I'm thinking I should have just bought one off eBay. I'll take a picture once I get it done. Maybe...

We're doing Universal, Seaworld, Busch gardens and Aquatica this year, and maybe MNSSHP... I just need to work on my schedule. Having a long vacation is lovely but takes even more planning! We fly in on Oct 14 and dont fly out til Nov1st, landing back in the UK Nov 2nd. Gotta work out which park passes will suit us best (and of course we have to visit at least 4 outlet malls and shopping malls while we're there ) ... so much to do!... so little time!

I'm hoping for brunch, but have always had a USA friend organise this for me in the past, so have never had to call before... dont even know the tel number!... or what time it opens over there v what time it is here in the UK? ,.... So we will be with you guys in October. We are celebrating our 10 year on this cruise. It will be disney cruise number 9. We are doing bwv the weekend before and akv the weekend after. We just bought into dvc and this will be our first trip on points. We are late seating and have booked Palo and Remys. Can't wait to meet everyone and sail the dream.

Our 10 year anniversary is the week before we sail, also my parents who are joining us are celebrating their 40th...
This will also be our first trip staying on points we finally bought in last year.

I am so excited! I just paid off our cruise with the Disney giftcards we had I was gonna use them for tips but we have $250 OBC to use for them! She told me she would call it in now and I would be ready to book Palo on the 18th!!!!

I have never been able to book Palo online. It always books first. I send my DH straight to book online when we get o the ship and have never had an issue. (knock on wood)
