October 15, 2005 anyone?

Congrats PandP on your newest edition. I'm so happy for you and your family. :)

Congrat's to Michelle and Paul for the good airfare deal. I'm glad you finally got it Micheele. I know that you have been watching/waiting for quite awhile now. :)

Nancy, no dessert since December? For me it's been no dessert since last night. How do you do it? :teeth:

Glad your feeling better Brenda. As far as your post is concerned. It doesn't bother me. :teeth:

Just highlight the sentence(s) you want to quote (put in the yellow box).
Go to your browser's "Edit" pull-down menu and select "Copy". (Or, if you like keyboard shortcuts, you can just type CTRL-C.)
While composing your reply, click on the little "quote" icon. (It should be the symbol that looks like the "bubble" that has the words a character is saying in a comic strip. It should be the far right icon in the icon set just above the reply box, and just below the font/size/color drop-down selectors.) This will open a dialog box where you can paste in the text you selected earlier. The easiest way to do this is to just press CTRL-V. (I'm assuming PC here...I guess the hot keys are different if you are using a Mac.)
Have fun quoting!

Thanks Sam for the instructions. I too have always wanted to do that. :rotfl: The question is as I type this...Did it work? :teeth:

Everyone, hoping your all having a super day!!! :)

Okay, it didn't work for me. This stuff is just to complicated for me.

Nancy, your a better woman then me. :rotfl2:

another way to quote.... plop the stuff you want to quote into your post with a
"["QUOTE"]"
(minus the double quotes) to the beginning and a
"["/QUOTE"]"
at the end.

it's kinda like coding HTML... or using the Old word perfect... toggle on/toggle off

it's hard to put it in here because it then wants to quote whatever I am typing...

Glad your feeling better Brenda... how long do you have to be in Jail?
Later,
Paul

do you at least get a TV to watch Baseball?

Thanks, Paul! It sounds like jail time will be about half a day, but no one will tell me what happens when you don't raise your pre-set bail amount! I figure I'm going to have to volunteer hard labor somewhere or else have my husband bring me a nail file. I have a feeling that they will deny television access to slackers like me...I'll just have to hope for the best. :teeth:

I was thinking about you this weekend when the Cubs were rolling over the Redbirds - don't know what it is this year but we do seem to have issues with the little bears. Oh, as for doctoring my picture...it sure could have been worse!

Brenda....You got our donation. I hope you raise enough otherwise you may have to use your "cruise fund".

Hope to see you in October!!!! :goodvibes

ya know.. they lose eight straight... and then beat the best team in the NL (or even baseball) three out of four games.... who knew?

the one thing about the cubbies is they put Kerry wood in the Pen because he's sorta hurt (can only throw 40-50 pitches).... Kerry wood when he is on (which is right now) is just plain scary... he has like 12 strikeouts in 5 innings or something like that... and I've seen the strikeouts.... he makes the best batters look bad...

We broke the 1400 hour mark!!!
Later,
Paul

Thank you so much for your help! My manager told me that I would be eligible for parole in 2009 but they might be persuaded to set me free in October for our trip! :teeth:

Just an FYI...I'm glad to be back on our nice little thread. I posted what I thought was going to be an innocent little question on the Resort thread and of course I got some "Yahoo" that decided I was trying to "start" some big argument!!! Touchy, Touchy!!!!

I shall remain loyal to my friends here!!!!! :cool1:

I have posted on the Cruise-Critic boards before concerning my RCL cruises and they are not nice..... :confused3 I have never had too many problems with the DIS boards.
One time I posted about pulling kids out of school and omg!! :earseek: That got it going.... :rotfl:

Nancy, You know we love you here and would never be mean to you! :goodvibes

I bought some cool shoes for formal night and I think I kind of look like one of my DD's Bratt dolls in them! :rotfl2: My Co-Workers liked them. I don't usually wear heels!! I will be tall and we better have calm seas that night or I will kill myself! :bitelip:

Bye! :wave2:

Thanks Michelle...and "Back at ya"!!!

I don't believe I have ever read a mean or condesending thing towards anyone on the thread. Guess I'll just have to hang around here.

I meant THIS thread!!! Believe me, I've seen some really crappy things said to people on the general cruise thread. I try to stay away from responding to any of them.

Nancy :wave2:

Bumping because we're getting too close to 1000 posts and our sail date to fall onto the second page... :goodvibes

Barb and I got together last night and went over all our cruise plans! :cool1: It is getting so exciting! :cool1:

I think I am pretty set on everything except I may pick up one more summer dress. When can we start packing??????? :goodvibes

Is BF for best friend or boy friend???? Anyway she has a little TOT that will be turning 3 on the cruise. When we signed her up on the DCL website they said she is only eligible for the Flounders nursery. Is that because she is technically 2 when we board??? :confused3 Because she is big and speaks in full sentences and potty trained! So we want her in the clubs with mine and her DS. I called DCL and they said the counselors will make the assessment. Think we will be ok?? She is definitly too big for the nursery!

Ok...Lets keep it going! I guess the Magic heads back on Sat!~~~ ~~~~

We are so close... think we can make it to 1000 posts today? I am tempted to post eight silly things just to get us there myself, but I'll leave the fun to others. It's very exciting to reach these milestones. This weekend I expect to hit 100,000 miles on my car, and I can hardly wait.

Michelle, I think your friend's kiddo will be okay. I can't imagine Flounders wants a bored nearly three year old in there any more than she wants to be in there. I guess that's the downfall of online registration - all they have to go by is her age when the cruise begins.

So instead of doing the Disney tour we had planned in St. Maarten, we are thinking of doing a private tour with a woman who can provide a car seat for us (another cruiser used this woman and recommended her - said the car seat was safe and clean). Have any of you ever done private tours like that?

Paige,
We were going to rent a jeep in St.Maarten and explore the Island, but there may be too many of us...Plus the car seat!
Let me know about this tour you are doing??? The website maybe? :confused3 I will check into something like that too.

I am leaving work at 11:30 today!! Yippee!

The tour would be with a woman named Joyce Prince. She has gotten rave reviews on Cruise Critic boards. But... she is only available that day after 2:00 p.m. I don't know yet what she would propose to charge us for the tour, but some folks on the Cruise Critic boards said she charged them $75 per person for a half day tour, which is WAY more than I want to pay. Maybe I'll look at renting a car in St. Maarten with a car seat. Who did you rent through, Michelle? I feel more comfortable being a little adventurous on our own in St. Maarten because there isn't quite as much of a time crunch as when we're in St. Thomas.

I think we'll make it.

My mom is all set to go with us. She' only doing the cruise and is not staying the extra days with DS & I at Disney. DS is still clueless about her going. She is booked on a separate flight which will arrive in Orlando at the same time as ours. He won't know she's going till she surprises him in the lobby at the Hyatt. :flower:

School has started back up here, has school started anywhere else? How many days your kids going to miss while on the cruise? DS will only miss 2 days for the cruise and 1 day for Disney. We planned the trip around Fall Intersession.

Happy Friday All!!!

Michelle....You mean we aren't supposed to be packed yet? :rotfl2:

Hey Guys...I just scarfed up another vacation day for October 13th. I know it won't be packing day because I'm almost packed now!! Actually, we have everything except our "under-roos" in a drawer ready for the suitcases. Decided to take the 13th off because it's a huge "billing" day at work and I won't be concentrating on anything but the cruise. They would have to re-do all my work when I'm gone!! :rotfl:

We found some dining buddies. Perdidobay (Jo and Danny) will be joining us for each meal except Palo. Seems like we have tons in common. They are celebrating their 30th and we our 25th. They hate dressing up and so do we!!! :rotfl:

I'm thinking of going to the bank tomorrow to withdraw our cruise money. At only 1.5% interest, I don't think we will miss out on too much! Then I can divi up the cash for tips, excursions, spending,....etc.

54 more days!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Later Friends,
Nancy :wave2:

WOW...did you see the 5/27/06 thread? Almost 14,000 posts!! They call themselves the "blabbermouths".. Ya Think????? :rotfl:

Uh...And that would be my fault. We have her booked in the morning...I read the same rave reviews of her tour service on the Cruise Critic board, so a couple of months ago I went ahead and booked a tour through her. It really sounds like a great way to get a good overview of the island in the small amount of time we have!

We should be at or above 1000 posts now! :earsboy:

Only 57 days until embarkation! 1274 hours until I start my vacation!
