October 15, 2005 anyone?

Wow! Congrat's Nancy & chuck! 25 years is something to be proud of and it sounds like you two had a sweet, romantic day. The 25 roses sound beautiful. :)

Happy anniversary Nancy! 25 years is quite an accomplishment - and those roses sound absolutely lovely.

Just four more months! Not far now as my DH likes to say! :)

Congratulations, Nancy and Chuck!!! What a wonderful day! :cloud9:

Shmoogrrrl, we did MNNSHP last year. For us, it started when it was still light out. There were games for the littles ones to play and dance to the music. The trick or treating was the highlight for my kids. They couldn't have cared less about the short lines for rides. They were after candy. :rotfl2: Now, My DD, 8 at the time, didn't like the story about the headless horseman they tell at Liberty Square. Needless to say, the beginning of the parade just about sent her over the edge. (headless horseman rides by) So, you could go and have a great time, just be aware that some of the activities might be a little unnerving.

Congratulations!!! Nancy & Chuck.

Paid balance off cruise yesterday. Waiting for 90 days out now.

It was my Mom and Dad's Anniversary yesterday too. 37 years! :lovestruc See sometimes true love does prevail!

I like the Idea of meeting for Lunch on a Sea day. We could probably meet at Parrot Cay at a certain time. I bet we could arrange it with DCL if we told them the situation. I am sure they would put together some tables for us. Lunch probably is not that busy anyway. I think this might just work!
What do the rest of you think? We would just need to figure out which Sea day???

Gotta get some work done...bye :wave2:

It was my parents anniversary as well. Sadly, I am not sure how long they have been married. Around 41-42, I believe! I guess it was a good date for weddings!

Yeah, they might help us out. I guess someone will just have to call. I'd volunteer, but the next few days is going to be crazy here for me. Any volunteers?

I'd say the first or second sea day would be best, but what do I know? :) :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

I guess I could call DCL and see what they suggest we do. I will do that now and post what I find out.

We are making progress! :cool1:

The agent said that we could definetly set aside a time and place for a meet through DCL. They said they like helping out with these sort of things. :cool1: The only problem I ran into was that I booked through a TA and so she would have to set it up,but if any of you booked directly through DCL then you could call and see about setting up a lunch time for our group directly.

I am fine with the first day at Sea....Maybe 11 ish??? that still gives us the whole day too do whatever?

We just need to figure out who all wants to go and have a headcount when we call DCL and set this up! :flower: This will be so fun to meet everyone and much less hectic than the sail a way party.

Atleast we know they are willing to help out with our meeting time and place!

I'm up for lunch on the first at-sea day. I booked on board last year so if we get things finalized I wouldn't mind calling DCL and making the arrangements. Maybe we could have them arrange a surprise for us!!? How about a cake shaped like a tooth? :rotfl: :rotfl:

man was that last thing I typed confusing.... Ok let's start a running total....

I vote for Parrot Cay if it is available...... :sunny: Love the atmosphere in that restaurant.

Thanks Brenda for offering to call...That will be better than going through a TA to set it up. You can talk to them directly. Hopefully you will get a CM as nice as I talked to today. She said they would be more than happy to help set up a meet for us on the ship. :goodvibes
I told them we are part of a thread on a message board and we come from all over the world basically...She first asked if our ressie's were linked! I said NO! We all met on line and are just booked on the same cruise. I told her there are pretty many of us. :grouphug:

I think I am paying off the cruise next week! Woo hoo! :cheer2:

Can I suggest that we also tally this in the Yahoo Group where it will probably be easier to get a final count?

We're up to 9 with just three of us responding so far, but I can see where we could lose the total with posts in-between.

yup... agreed...

Database to come.

later,
Paul

OK I did some tinkering.... and couldn't add another field to the current cruisers DB so I created a new one... I'll sent notice of it out to all members of the yahoo group...

Later,
Paul

I was just looking at the new navigators for the Mexican cruises... there are some interesting adult things they've added since last year that I hope we get to see in October. In addition to the stem-to-stern wine tasting they are also offering a martini tasting and a margarita / tequila tasting (although that one is probably geared more for the west coast cruises). We did the wine tasting last year and enjoyed it, although it was pretty basic stuff. Loved getting a special cruise pin for attending! I hope they do that with the martini tasting if it's offered on our trip. Drinkers, that's what we are! :teeth:

It also looks like they've added some fun family activities that I don't remember from last year.

I wish it was already October!!

Congratulations, Nancy and Chuck!!! Hope you had a wonderful day!

I really like the lunch idea on the first sea day.
Paul - Thanks for the database! The total is now up to 13.

Thanks for all the information on MNNSHP - I'm most definitely getting tickets! :cheer2:

Hi Marnie
Sorry to hear about your Grandma.
You have to do MNSSHP, we have taken Mathew twice before and going again this Oct. Will you do it before or after cruise?
Did Dylan get the last letter from Mathew? He waits for the Postman every morning, got excited this morning but it was a letter from his friend in UK.

Hi Everyone! :wave2:
The first sea day sounds great to me. So does Parrot Cay, my DH"S favorite.
So add 2 more. Is it now @ 15? :)

Count us in too!!! Just the two of us. :Pinkbounc

First sea day at 11:00ish at Parrot Cay???

Thanks for all the "well wishes" for our anniversary. It really was a fun day. Kids are taking us out for dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant on Sunday. We have friends who are celebrating their 25th on June 16th. Their kids are sending them on a cruise. Hmmmm...where did we go wrong? Maybe it's because they have 14 (yes 14) children and we only have 2. I guess it's easier to split the price of the cruise between all those kids. Their ages are from 1 to 25 years old and they all belong to them. YIKES They should get more than a cruise!!! They should be nominated for "sainthood". :cheer2:

Nancy & Chuck :wave2:

Looks like we're already up to 17 takers for DisLunch at Parrott Cay on our first at-sea day!

I mentioned this on the yahoo forum, but I'll repeat myself here... I'd like to get a count of people who are celebrating birthdays while we're on the cruise and relay that information to DCL when I call to set this up. They might as well add a little more magic to the mix, and the kids should get a kick out of it, too (I hope!).
