Brenda, Is it you who collects pins? Or have I confused you with someone else??
Thanks,
Jo

I collect some...have a few on my lanyard but I'm not a rabid collector, unless you count Hard Rock Cafe, and that's really Jason more than me. You may have me confused with someone else but for the life of me I'm not sure who. Might be Kathy...or Kevin, I think he does collect.

Cards 5, Padres 0 - top of the 5th :cheer2:

It may be time to pull out the brooms, my friends! :teeth:

Ahem... Cards 7, Padres 0 - bottom of the 5th :cheer2:

Hang on to the brooms...Morris is melting down... Cards 7 Padres 2, top of the 6th. :cheer2:

My DS is a collector. I believe he has over 200 in his collection. And I believe Wayne's son Mathew is a collector.

Brenda - I'm a Hard Rock Cafe pin collector. Speaking of which, has any heard if they kept the shopping part of the Hard Rock @ St. Thomas open. I know they closed the Cafe, but I was hoping to pick up a couple of pins.

WELCOME to the newbies --- Hitomi, we lived in Japan for about a year back in 1990 in Yokusuka when DH was stationed on the Naval Base. I remember the long airflight with Victoria alone when we had to return to the U.S.

Hi,Evelyn.
Yohohama's changed in these years ,but Yokosuka still good place to live(not too busy town).I chosed NWA on this flights, but they don't have personal monitor with our seats.so,I'm afraid of my son would be boring and busy.I'll bring NintendoDS to him keep staying on his seat.

If we are lucky, it will just fall apart all together.
Fortunately, it looks like this is exactly what is happening. Once the sun went down yesterday, the system appeared to lose all convection and started falling apart. The NHC has declared it "dissipating", and is no longer issuing updates. The local weather guy here says there is about a 20-30% chance it could regenerate, but for now things are looking much better! :sunny:

Thanks for the update, Captain! That is excellent news and has considerably eased the pressure on the baseball-related ulcer I developed during the late innings of last night's game (that bullpen is going to be the deth of us... :guilty: ). Good news - game over at 1:30 AM CST...Cardinals 7, Padres 4... Series over - IT'S A SWEEP!!

Jason and I are very excited that we get to take our second cruise on the Magic while the Cardinals are in the post-season and have high hopes that the results will not mimic those of last year. :cheer2: :cheer2: I just realized I should clarify this statement...last year we were on the Magic when the birds lost the World Series...what we want this year is for the Birds to win the NLCS while we're cruising so that we can get home and score World Series tickets so that we can watch them finish what they started last year. Sheeesh...I need coffee... :teeth:

Marnie... we have a ton of Hard Rock pins...mostly from cafes around the USA...any you're looking for in particular? Perhaps we can engineer a mutually beneficial trade? :teeth:

Catch everyone later...lots to do today. Gotta get organized!!

Brenda :goodvibes

Hey guys, I'm going to have to take my name out of Dis Tag, I will still meet you all but I'm not going to participate in the tag game (pfuzz32) Thanks and we'll see you next week.

:cool1: Whooo hoooo! We can all say we "leave this week for our cruise" :hourglass !!!

I'm finishing up the last of our shopping, have to sew a costume and we're off! See you guys in the Palo line! :crowded:

PS - we are thinking of eating in Downtown Disney for dinner of Friday night - any other good suggestions? We're staying at the Hilton by the airport, first time my group has been in Florida, my daughter Mia and I were there last year, but didnt make it to DTD.

PS - we have such a bunch of cool people on this trip! Everyone is so friendly!:hyper2:

Hard to go wrong with the DD dining options. We enjoyed the Portobello Yacht Club and the Fulton's Crab House for sit-down service. The Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express are nice for a quick meal. That's it from personal experience. Be sure to stop by the World of Disney store!

Griselda,

I have family members who have eaten at The Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney and they swear by it. Jay and I have never tried it - we have eaten at House of Blues which is on the other side of Pleasure Island..what is called...The West Side? We love the food at HoB..yummy! I think there may be a Wolfgang Puck restuarant over there, too...I've heard good things about his place.

Brenda :goodvibes

I agree with Brenda's choices, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Yeah I would go with that.We have eaten at Raiforest Cafe and House Of Blues, both excellent !

whoo hoo....for the good news about the weather!!! Unfortunatly it stinks here in Colorado right now. We had club level tickets on the 50 yard line for the Bronco's game that starts in about 20 minutes and decided to back out. It's cold and very rainy. We thought long and hard about it, and even though we could have watched inside, with all the rain it would be so crowded. The last thing we need is a family all getting sick with colds etc right before our trip....NO THANKS! Sam was it you that was a Bronco's fan....If you can get here in 20 minutes the tickets are yours! :)
My hubby absolutely blew me away last night. He disappeared from the family sight for awhile...and I finally told my daughter to go see what he was up to...SHe came running back downstairs..Mom...Mom....HE"S PACKING!!!! He usually does this the night before! So we have all been giving him a hard time (to make up for all the eye rolling etc that he has been giving us). Every time we pass him we do a little chant...."Daddy's got Disnyitis, Daddy's got Disnyitis!!!" it's too funny..now we get even more rolling eyes!

HI GUYS! :flower: :moped: :wizard: ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Diane, wow your husband started packing!!! Last night we went to K & G and bought our DS his tuxedo shirt and cumberbun(sp??) we also picked up a capri and top outfit for Victoria. Believe it or not, we are still making excursion reservations for the other people in our group. My girlfriends from California wasn't able to get any reservations for Palo, but did sign up for a few of the shore excursions. I agree the weather is icky outside. The kids and my husband went to play a pickup game of football this morning and my DH sprained his foot!! He's icing it right now while he and the kids are watching a rental.

Guys, I called Disney and it appears that we may get "FlightPlan" as one of the movies, including "SkyHigh", "Valient" "Princess Diary II", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Pacifier", "Ladder 49", "Treasure Island", "Ice Princess", "Herbie the Lovebug Movie", "Hitchhicker's Guide to the Universe", "Finding Nemo", "Brother Bear", "A Lot like Love..." and a few more I can't remember... I guess they have a long list of various Disney movies and I just can't wait.

Thanks Hitomi for the update about Japan... My younger brother who just retired and is working Civil Service visited Yokosuka to train a division there on security. He said it was a quick trip and he went through Narito. I loved Tokyo and yes... we did Tokyo Disney /Japan when we lived there.

I'll be here until Friday morning just like Diane. Yeah!!!! I brought up our suitcases from the basement and we will start our sorting and packing :cool1: :sunny: :cheer2:

Hey! Some good titles there. Not that I'm going on a cruise just to watch movies ...

Hi Guys!!!

Just finished watching an awesome Packer Game!! They finally broke their 4 game losing streak. Too bad they couldn't save some of those points for future games. Lost the first game by 1, second game by 2 and third game by ???? (very little anyway).

Chuck and I are 99% done packing now. Suitcases are in the living room and waiting for our carryons to join them. We only have to charge up the camcorder batteries on Thursday and pack up Chuck's c-pap machine Friday morning and we are done!!!! Both last minute things.

Glad to hear the weather is changing down south. I was getting a little nervous myself!!

Where do I go to see the Magic right now? Anyone have a link for me?

Talk to you all soon!!
Nancy :sunny:
