And speaking of mardi gras beads, I picked up a pack of 6 for $1.99 at Paper Factory. They are perfect! Lime Green, not grass green, but LIME GREEN! It's the little things that make me happy.

Quick ? to anyone of you who has ordered thru Shirley (The Perfect Gift).
She called me this morning to give me the "damage" for my DH surprise gift basket. Do you tip her? I mean she is so great, so helpful & nice. I guess I fell I should do something. Any advice is appreciated.

I didn't even think of that! I was figuring that after the cruise, I would just send her a nice card singing her praises.

I ordered three baskets. You just don't want to see my bill! She wasgreat though, and talked me out of going overboard and making it worse.

Meeting my best friend Wednesday after work to finish our last minute shopping on items we need for the cruise. Then we are going to dinner and go over our travel folders and plans.....I can't stand it!! I am so ready to go...I only have a few things left to get,but she needs some guidance....What are friends for!!!

I think we are going to "FRIGHT NIGHT" at our local Six Flags on Friday night! Not MNSSHP,but they do a good job with the Halloween theme! We will have fun!

No kidding! I had a nightmare last night that we were waiting to embark and my DH was being so negative about the whole thing and I was convinced he was trying to sabotage the trip. He has admitted that he is a little afraid we will like this cruise too much and I will want to do it over and over again. He likes a little more variety in his travels (and a little less expense). I think DH is VERY tired of hearing about the trip. I started packing DS' suitcase last night and DH just rolled his eyes and left the room. I don't dare ask for his input on anything or else I get that "would you just shut up about the cruise" glare.

Michelle, hope that foot improves. I can't even imagine the blue streak coming out of my mouth if I had a 1200 pound horse on my foot.

hmmmm.... Matt & him would get along great.... I've definitly gotten the "enough already" glare! He keeps telling me he feels likes he's not going to have fun (he's never cruised before).

* We are meeting Sunday at 1:00 on deck 10?
* Are we taking our kids?
*Any comments on Dolphin excursions?
*What about the jet ski tour of Castaway?
*Is anyone else bringing bubbles for the Sail away party (I'm not sure where I read that...)

Kathy, good idea. If I had ordered the basket thru DCL I wouldn't even think of it, but Shirley went above & beyond & was so helpful. She went the extra mile, therefore I want to go the extra mile.

Anyhoo, Hope things are great for everyone. It is currently 82 w/ 67% dewpoint. Feels like 84. That's hot for good ol' Minnesota in October. But, of course Wednesday is forecasted to be 50 & very windy. It's a rollrcoaster ride in dressing the kids for school in the morning. Thought of you this morning Brenda...Saw a minivan w/ a Cub's sticker.

Well, I think it was Nancy who said..."12 more sleeps"

Gotta run, I have three 4 year olds making mayhem.

Hey could someone direct me as to how to add a picture of our family to the bottom of my posts, like so many others have done. I was able to add one to the photo section of the yahoo site without any difficulty...(it was pretty self explanitory) but I have searched and searched the user control panel to try to figure out how to do it here and can't seem to find any answers. I'm just so stupid when it comes to computers....I know my hubby will know exactly how to do it...but like a few of you others He kind of doesn't want to hear any more about this cruise....when I ask him to help me with these boards he'll flip out

Hey Cub's, Card's, they're all the same to me. But I tried man, I really really tried...I JUST wanted to fit in.

Diane, I tried to do the picture at the bottom of the post thing too. But, it just wasn't happening. As far as my husband? Same thing. He walked in the door 5 min's ago & asked our oldest son...Where's mommy? My son say's.."The computer" My Dh..."I thought so, talking to those Disney people again." I guess you (we) are all THOSE people. I feel we should have a support group or something.

I can't sleep or work or anything!!!! My mind won't stop thinking about this trip!!

(Oh and yesterday my 1200 lb horse stepped on my foot!!!! I can hardly walk today!!) My little toe and the side of my foot is blue and swollen!! It better be healed up by 11 days!! Then he had his hoof hung in the fence this morning!! UGH! 5:00 am I am outthere trying to get him undone from the fence. Finally had to get fence cutters and cut him out! Stupid horses!! Sometimes they are more trouble than they worth!! So my Monday is starting a little rough!! Can't wait till 2 weeks from now!!! I am ready to get away!!

I plan on sending Shirley a small Picture of us with a Thank-you note . She really puts her heart into making the baskets .

I did the same thing with Katie, except we made one of those little paper chains and dated each link. We've been pulling one off every day for the last three weeks or so. She can't reach it now where it is hanging, and she gets so excited when we take it down to pull one off!

-As of now, we are meeting on Deck 10 at 1PM on Sunday.
-You are absolutley NOT allowed to bring your dolphins to the meet!
-I have heard of kid excursions, it's best to go see the kids early in the morning right after they have chummed the O.C. with candy and sugar.
-mmmm bubbles... you mean my pet Bubbles the monkey? he isn't allowed onboard... although the jet skiing peaked his interest...

I am so excited about this trip too........but my DH......thinks I am crazy.. ...........Last night I was trying to make some door posters and I showed them to him, he thought I was absolutely off my rocker...he said aren't you getting too Compulsive about this trip.......I told him there was going to be a ship full of Compulsive Disney nuts!!!! He just looked at me...........He just doesn't get it!!!!

I had to ban myself from the boards today so I could get some work done!!! It is way to addicting now!!

Michelle I'm so sorry about your foot, yow!! Hope you feel better soon!! I reserved a car directly through AVIS at ST. Maarten, they did not require a deposit, so I went ahead and did it. I wanted the Jeep but it only holds 4 and we need 5 so we got a car. I can't wait to explore ST. Maarten, we are going to try to go to the Lottiere Farm - There is a trail that goes through the rainforest, sounds pretty cool for my boys.

We will be wearing our beads on Embarkation Day and Sunday!!

Well the Packers are on and they just scored a touchdown....Yeah!! I must go and cheer!!

I am getting so antsy about this whole thing. Wife and I did some shopping for the cruise tonight. I'm still stuck on the tag items. We have 19 People for tag, right ?
Also trying to think of things to have Shirley put in a basket for me. I booked the " naughty" mud treatment. Anybody try that before ??? Here is a little pixy dust for everyone to get upgrades.

Do the Mardi gras beads have to be a certain color? Or is it just that we are all wearing them ???
