October 15, 2005 anyone?

"No brunch reservations yet. Have to wait to get on the ship before I can snag a ressie. "

I didnt get a chance to get a good reservation for Palo - I too will be in that line...

My wet blanket family doesnt want to do the banana boat or the stingray adventure - I may need to go solo on my next cruise...

Anyone heard anything about swimming with dolphins? I hate that by the time I log in, most of you have gone to bed!

Sam...you out there...still got my back - right?
You got it, Kevin! I'm locked and loaded...Dental drill in one hand and floss in the other! :teeth:

Two weeks from now I'll be on my way from Saratoga Springs to the port! After over 15 months of waiting, I can't believe it's almost here!

I assume the Magic has already offloaded its last set of passengers and is on its way (or about to be on its way) to Norfolk for dry dock. We will be the next set of passengers onboard!!! :earsboy: :cheer2:

Just wondering now that we've got our official list if we could get some clarification on cabin numbers? I noticed in the database that some families have connecting staterooms - which room should we tag? I don't want to leave something in the wrong place.

Yeah...I'm a little anal. It's my job. :teeth:

Checked out the 9/03 navigators...did not see the martini flight listed at Diversions...I guess I'll just have to ask nicely. Step away from the shaker and put down the ice...leave the mixing to me. :rotfl2:

See ya!

Brenda

I checked the newest Navigator and found these tastings (not including the Wine Tastings):

Sunday:
:sunny: Margarita & Tequila Tasting - $12.00 p/p (21 yrs +) - 2pm @ Sessions

:sunny: Martini Tasting - $15.00 p/p - 4-4:45pm @ Sessions

Monday:
:sunny: Beer Tasting - $12.00 p/p - 2pm @ Diversions

Thursday:
:sunny: Martini Tasting - $15.00 p/p - 2:30-3:45pm @ Diversions

Im guessing we will be at a few of those, since my husband said he enjoys those OnBoard Excursions :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

See ya in 2 weeks from today! :cheer2:
:earsgirl: pirate: :dog2: :paw:

We have Palo dinner reservations for Wednesday night, too! We'll be there at 8:00, so you guys better leave us some souffle! We also have brunch reservations the next day. I'm afraid that might have been a big mistake, but we'll see.

Thanks for the tip on the stingray thing, Sam. I booked our group for it at 11, but will still need to see if I can get Flounders ressies at that time since DS is too young to do it. My guess is that dear deathly-afraid-of-water Gran will actually not want to do it so she will probably hang on the beach with Will.

Can't believe two weeks from right now I'll be onboard the Magic (unless one of you fools packs some stinky cheese in your suitcase...)!

Hello to all – just checked our Yahoo site...no new players for Dis-Tag...so, our total is at 19 – this is gonna be fun!!!
I was also wondering what to do if persons had 2 rooms. Well, only 3 playing have multiple rooms (one of them – is my family).
So...if the following will post/pm/e-mail me with the room number they want their ‘surprises’ delivered to...I can update our list;
- Suzie (AKA – SuzieDizney)
- Elizabeth (AKA – txaggie94gigem)

My biggest worry is last minute room adjustments when checking in at port. It’s possible someone will receive/purchase an upgrade (nancy is still holding out for the Roy or Walt suite – GOOD LUCK NAN :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: ) or end up with a room change. All in all, everything will work out. At some point during our meet at 1p on Sunday...we should get everyone playing together to verify room assignments...final questions/discussions – etc (SamR - you still got my back - right...cause there's cardinals, bears and yankees...OH MY)

I should have the Dis-Tag participants spreadsheet completed this weekend. I’ll still e-mail it to those interested...as well as...post this on our Yahoo site.

Evelyn – thank you for letting us know about the updated navigators...

This time next week...we will be arriving in Orlando...starting our week on land - i am soooooo excited. Great weekend to all....Kevin

Yahooo! Mia's team won their soccer game! :cool1:
6-0!! Now we're off to shop for some formal night stuff to wear.

Any comments on the dolphin encounter? :fish:

I'm a wine girl (Have I mentioned that Virginia makes the BEST Wine in the world? :) ), but I do enjoy a beer every now and then. This sounds QUITE fun! I wonder what they taste!

We're good for 12:00. And sure we can meet at the Walt suite instead. I just hope that passenger's name is Nancy and we'll get away with it. :teeth:

Kathy,
we asked our servers about this last year because Jason and I do enjoy a tasty beer. It was a sampling of four beers from Great Britain...Stella Artois, Boddingtons, Guiness (which is Irish so I'm not really sure how it ended up here...but let's not get into the whole Independence for Ireland thing now... :teeth: ) and a fourth one that I can't seem to remember. We didn't do it because we'd already tried the three that I mentioned at other times and places. I am a huge Boddingtons fan and Jason loves Guiness (the beer that eats like a meal) so we didn't feel like it would be worth our time.

We did do the wine tasting and found it very enjoyable. I think this year we're going to try the martini tastings and the tequilla tastings. If they offer a different beer selection we might try that as well, but I thought that the beer selection on the Magic last year was pretty limited. I like a beer with flavor...not this watered-down swill that passes for acceptable. Yeechhh!!

DISMEET: I'm fine with noon at the Promenade Lounge if that works for everyone else...we should probably get a group consensus on this fairly quickly because we have some key people who may be out of touch by the end of this week.

Brenda :goodvibes

PS - Just thought of something...would noon interfere with anyone having brunch at Palo on Sunday? If so, where else could we meet at 1PM so that no one has to cut their gluttony short? :teeth:

It appears that our family and Gia's group scheduled brunch at 10:30 a.m. that morning. I have never attended brunch so I am unsure if we need at least 1 to two hours to feast. I would prefer the 1:00 p.m. time since I'm not too interested with the auction. Let's take a vote... ;) :earseek: :earsgirl:

Thanks for your consideration - :sunny: :cloud9:

Or maybe a compromise -- 12:30 p.m. :confused3 :grouphug:

Maybe somewhere else at 1PM... Deck 10? how many people will fit on the secret deck 7??

Later,
Paul

The fourth beer was Newcastle Brown Ale ( it was on our 4 night last year ) I remember it because I live in Newcastle UK and Newcastle Brown Ale is brewed here.

Keith.

Unfortunatly we have brunch at 11:30 on Sunday. I was even wondering if we be done by the 1:00 time but figured I could just leave and the family could catch up with me later if they weren't done eating. So yes, I too would still prefer the 1:00 time.

Sounds like noon is going to be a problem... so let's keep it at 1PM since that's what we've been planning for all along.

I'm fine with deck 10 or the "secret deck" on 7... any other thoughts? Sessions or some place back around Beat Street might be good if it's too windy.

Open to suggestions....
