Never stayed at Saratoga before. We are hoping to get one of the 2 story, 3 bedoom suites the night before the cruise. We are hoping to make arrangements to leave our cars at Saratoga and catch the Disney buses round trip to Port Canaveral. Be glad to let you know how it ru\\turns out

Under 300 days to go!!!!

So, yesterday my DS celebrated his 11th Birthday. For which he received a little over $100 from family and friends and he made me very proud because he put up most of it up for the cruise and I didn't even have to ask him to.

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by...knowing it won't be long and I'll have an opportunity to meet some fellow Dis'ers.

My family will also be on the 10/15 sailing. The Bradfords consist of:

Mollie (DW)
Lily (was a 12 week old cruiser in 2000) (DD - 5 yrs)
Grace(DD 3 yrs)

Lily, Mollie and I made our 1st cruise by days.... Lily was born exactly 12 weeks prior to sailing.... luckily they go by weeks and not months

Welcome Paul and family. BTW I love the name Lily. My DD (10mos) was almost a Lily, but most family members didn't like it, so she bacame Emily instead.

I am trying to plan a few overnight trips out to Disney over the next couple of months, to help take our minds off the cruise being so far away. I just have to find the time to get on the phone with DVC.

I know October is a long wait,but I am REALLY EXCITED cause I leave for my cruise on RCCL "Enchantment of the Seas" next Wednesday!!! One week from today!! OMG!

Can you tell I am excited???? Girl trip only! No men or kids on this one. We are visiting Key West and Cozumel. Kind of excited to try a new line....Although my heart will always remain with DCL! That is why we are sailing in October on the MAGIC!!

Dena: it's kinda funny... my DW has a sister named Emily who is 7 years younger than her. I really wanted to name our baby Emily... but SIL Emily got to pick the middle name.... Thus we ended up with Lily Evelyn.... the really cool part was when Lily was born, she came out face up.... they call that stargazing.... so we had a Stargazer Lily!

and we'll always tell Lily that she was induced exactly 12 weeks prior to sailing to the day!

I don't wanna leave Princess Grace out of the name explanation game.... Grace was born on Thanksgiving Day 3 years ago.... we had a bunches of other names... but Thanksgiving Grace just seemed to fit.... Man did we have some nasty old turkey sandwiches that year for Thanksgiving Dinner!!

I cannot wait for October!!! I think we are going to do the 1 day rental car both to and from.... should be cheaper than the $200 for DCL coach...

I haven't read it yet, but has there been a DIS meet set up on our MAGICal 7 days?

Paul: Thanks for sharing your baby naming stories! I love babies and love to hear stories about them!! I was actually 23 weeks pregnant with Em when we sailed last 2 Halloweens ago and this past year she was 8 months old and it was a great age!!

I am not sure about anything set for a dis meet yet. Maybe someone else can answer that for you.

we are cruising oct 15 with 2 of our kids ds13 dd 10 does anyone else kids around the same age? This is our first disneycruise we have been to dw and live by disneyland I just love the big mouse and can not wait to go. I hope I can find someone out here with advice for this cruise at this time, I am new to these boards so I am trying to figure out how it all works. Thanks for any help Kim

Hi again everyone, welcome to newbies.Hope you all had good Christmas and New Year.
Not been on for a while, being in retail Christmas is a busy time for me. Just got back from a week in Disney, thank goodness for fastpasses and a little experience. Don't know how 1st timers cope at Christmas.
DS wanted to go over to the Port to show his Grandma the ship, no time she will have to make do with photos.
Will have to go now to look for a hotel in Amsterdam.

I think the ships would look a lot nicer with flowers everywhere. If they want a live in Florist, I will offer my services.
DW is qualified to work in the Nursery.
DS (age 11) thinks he could do the Captains job.

Good morning all. I am very sad to report that I called yesterday to cancel this cruise.
My DH and I are celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary in June and wanted to do something different. So, we booked a 9 day southern cruise on NCL for April. We sailed with them once before, and they are not too bad. THe ship we are sailing on is only 1 year old.

Anyway, as excited as I am about that, I will miss my magic!!!!! And I will miss chatting with you guys. The NCL chat board is not as friendly.

We decided that my DH and I will probably just do a 3 or4 day on the Wonder in Sept. And then sail the magic again in 2006.

I would love to cruise the Southern Caribbean! That is something that I plan to do someday. I know exactly what you mean about the other boards...EEK! I have been talking on the RCL board for the past year planning my RCL trip... Those people can be mean!! I just got off my RCl cruise Monday and posted that I had an nice time,but the ship did not compare at all to my past Disney cruises. WELL!! Thought I was going to get flamed!!
I am glad to be back on the DIS boards planning my October trip.
I had gotten out of my head and booked one of the Double dip CC Disney cruise for 2006!!!! I don't know what I was thinking!! I need to get this one out of the way first and so I went ahead and cancelled. It is easy to get hyped up by these boards and then do something crazy. I figure we will book while on board if I want to go again and take advantage of the credit and discounts. Only thing is I lost the SPR for the October 06 cruise. That is ok.
