October 13, 2013 4 Night Cruise!!!!

We are doing Ron Jon instead this time. We were on a cruise in May and did Disney before. We were at Pop though. Have a great time. The Poly is gorgeous!!!!

This trip is our 10th wedding anniversary! We are really excited to be doing both WDW and the cruise (Our vacation from the vacation!)

We honeymooned in WDw, and this is our second disney cruise, our first being just the teaser cruise out of NYC.

We found out some friends of ours from the sci fi convention circuit are going to be on the cruise..we sent them the info for DISboards. They are crafters, so they might do the FE.

Is anyone doing a WDW trip before their cruise? We are staying Oct 6-13, Poly.

We can do web check-in in like 4 days!

We'll be at Saratoga Springs from the Oct. 8 - 13. F&W here we come!!!

Babylon 5, Doctor Who, Stargate, Farscape, Warehouse 13 .... ????? I traveled all the way to Blackpool, UK for a Babylon 5 convention one time, but hubby and I have been out of the convention circuit for a long, LONG time.

My daughter is obsessed with Stitch too. In fact - we just had a gigantic Lilo and Stitch themed birthday for her. Not an easy task when they no longer make much decor for Lilo and Stitch. My poor hubby had to make gigantic Lilo and stitchs out of wood and paint. I would post a pic but I haven't posted 10 times yet LOL

So we may bump into each other since that is where we are staying as well although that is pretty spread out. I did request a room close the the dock since we can't walk to DTD at this point.

Do you get a boarding number after you arrive at port? we got a noon arrival.

Also we decided to use CB Shuttle. Was much cheaper than a rental car and we have used them prior with great luck.

Thanks. He gets annoying with my parties I throw but I think he is secretively happy to make what I ask. He just used an overhead projector and cut them out on wood and painted them. I wonder if I can fit them in my suitcases? (kidding - I won't bring them with)

Your party decorations are awesome. But, why bring the wooden characters when DCL has the real thing?

For those people staying at the World prior to the cruise, what do you think about having a informal meet -n- greet one day at F&W festival? I'm always up for some Rosa Regale and I know Stephen can be talked into having a Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Orange Slush from France. Too bad France has the Eiffel Sour Cosmo Slush again this year. Last year was truly Awful Sour Cosmo flavored.

You would have died...I was sitting next to the guy who played fargo from eureka and got a conversation with Pete and Artie (Eddie and Saul) from Wearhouse 13...they were both at the convention we went to. Eddie is just like his character, he is totally funny. Saul is more serious, and he was walking around with a bag just like he does in the show..was dressed the same too...I think it's just his normal way of dressing.

Also Bret Spiner was there, also from Warehouse 13 and of course Stark Trek Next Gen..

and they had another guest you might have heard of.. William Shatner.

It was a good weekend. My hubby used to be the chairperson of a local Phila convention. I'm not really into it like he is, I go for the pool and meeting up with friends. We are friends with some of the Star Trek book authors...I might understand or know much about all that stuff, but I try.

My hubby is very excited about the new Dr. Who that was just announced.
