I read through the posts in this forum, and it is like a whole new language! We have never been on a cruise before, and are beyond excited!
And our kids are looking forward to it too !

Welcome! You guys are going to love it! The first cruise we ever went on was a Disney cruise. . . and it's ruined us for life. LOL! No other cruise line compares. My DD is turning 9 on the cruise, and she is so excited by all the other girls the same age as her. Will you be going to the meet up on the first day?

where are you from that you are on break? my daughter's family is from colorado....she has 4 kids,,,, dd5, ds8, dd 10 and 13....
this is our first disney cruise and am looking forward to meeting everyone...

We are in a charter school north of Austin, Texas, and our kids are off school the entire week. Love fall break!

I live in MA and my cruising partner lives in Florida. Yesterday he texted me that there was a storm forming in the Gulf. I responded with, No there isn't and it won't be coming up the cost and impacting New England in the middle of the week.

My flight is out of Manchester on Wednesday. I'm not worried but with such an uneventful storm season, really? Now?

I think one of the facebook group is driving from MA. I hope it doesn't affect her drive. that would be no fun.

I know what you mean... today is my last working Friday, too. Three more days of work. We're packing next Thursday then driving up to Port Canaveral when the kiddo gets home from school! Plan to stop for deep dish Chicago style pizza at Giordano's in Orlando on the way...

I keep checking to see if they have assigned a room # for my MIL and BIL, but still says GTY at the moment. I will let you know as soon as I know so the number can be added to the list. Their names are Barbara and Eric.
I borrowed a sewing machine in an attempt to make my fish extender. That is not going well. I am not as crafty as I would like to be, but I will keep trying. Thanks so much for your work in organizing FE list #4.

I cannot believe this thread is at 100 pages. I went back and found my first post August 30, 2012 on page 6! That was 403 days ago...

It's been a long wait but we're almost there. I have three days of work left counting today then it's a day of packing before leaving for Port Canaveral when DS gets home from school on Thursday. Woo hoo!

It's probably too late to get involved but why don't you give me your room number and I'll add you to list 4. If anyone brought extras they can share.

I'll have a couple extras.

Figure out some kind of "pocketed" thing(sorry I can't think of a better word) to hang outside your room. I wouldn't worry about individual pockets because you probably won't get much, but hopefully others will have extras.

I am just wondering what happens if anyone upgrades/changes their room assignments at port, how do we go about letting everyone know so we can still participate in the FE?

I figured I'd put a small magnetic white board on my door and people can write their changes if they want.

I see someone on facebook will also have a full list of all the fish extenders.

There is a meet and greet at the Vista Café at 2:30 on embarkation day. People can attend and communicate there.

I'm getting so excited about this cruise.
