Hi guys, I have decided to leave this cruise. We decided to book Aulani yesterday after finding some great airfare ($323 r/t), and I can't justify both. Have a great cruise!!

Great airfare price!!! Aulani is on our bucket list...hope you have a great trip to Aulani instead!

Well, our fate is sealed.

Checked school calendar, and DD is off on a Monday in Oct next year (Oct 21) & not a Friday (which it has been the last 2 years). So, that pushed me towards the Oct cruise.

Now, DCL announces a Southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan in Oct 2014, so we are moving this cruise to that one.

Y'all have a great time - enjoy the Fantasy! If you want Scott to keep the list for you still, he certainly can; it's on the FE website. If someone else wants to take the list over, PM him your email & he'll send you the spreadsheet.

I thought I wouldn't take DD out of school again but sheesh! I can't miss the southern Caribbean out of San Juan on DCL! Airfare to there from Tampa is pretty reasonable and Southwest flies there.

What I do wish for is to have my fellow cruisers start planning things for this cruise.

I wish to do cruise t-shirts or FE gifts with a cruise logo. No one has offered one, but my ideas were shot down.

I wish to hear thoughts on what others are thinking about for excursions and if/what they have tried before.

I wish that others would join us in conversations as there seem to be less than 10 people involved.

Most of all I wish for us to have a great trip and great weather.

I would love to start planning too...very anxious for October to get here, although don't want to "wish away" my summer either. Very busy working mom here, so haven't done much myself, and I don't get much time to get on here.

I'm new to the FE, although I've been looking for ideas. I plan to make something. I found a really cute idea for the girls, but would have to come up with something different for the boys. The idea I found for the girls would probably not use a trip logo, but is personalized and Disney themed. Although I'm not set on it yet.

I'm bringing my parents on this cruise, and we have decided on our port adventures, as long as none of them are booked already. We are silver club members, but my parents are not, so I won't be able to get them booked until the general population...so I'm hopeful we get everything we want. We are doing the Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Farm in Grand Cayman, Jungle Beach Break in Costa Maya, and Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins in Cozumel. We have not done this cruise before so these stops are all new to us. The turtle farm does come recommended by a friend though. At Castaway Cay, we will probably snorkel with the stingrays, so my dad can try that. We did do that last year, and had a great time.

First thing I have to ask is whether or not your kids are also silver and if your parents are staying in the same class room as you? We had my son (silver) on my BIL's room so we could get our silver booking advantage. He ended up staying in his room too!Just a thought to get you all on the same booking day!

My kids are also silver, but I have them booked in our room. We are all in the same class room, we are in adjoining rooms, with a veranda. Do you think I could get one of my kids moved to their room? Answer to your last question is yes! We did this and it worked. We got the booking advantage for my brother in law (1st time DCL cruiser) when my son (silver) stayed in his room. Now, I did have to change back my son's address because it automatically changed it to my BIL's address!

Not so sure it will work if you already have the discounted rate for your children. Tricky. I hope it does! Please let us know how it works out!
