really excited about our 1st disney cruise.... oct 12
not sure how to navigate all forums.....
we are in rooms 9002 parents and DD5 and DS8
and 9004 grandparents and DGD10 and DGD13
hoping to meet someone with disney kids around the same age....
and some grandparents.....

We are really excited about this cruise too! It's our 3rd, but we are bringing my parents (the grandparents) and it is their 1st cruise ever. We are on deck 9 too, 9046 and 9044. My kids are DS - 10 and DD - 6. Hope we can meet up and say "hello"!

Do you have a Facebook account? If so, you can join our group by following this link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/321138694651550/ You will have to request permission to join the group, because it is a closed group. That just means that no one who is not a part of the group can see what we are talking about, or any pictures that are posted. It's a fun group over there, and it's easier to get to know everyone, because everyone uses their real names and pictures.

Or do they... Bwahahaha.

i am a little confused with the fb pages.... i see that somehow there is a map for group 2 for FE... how do you find that?? i just get the same info that i see on the regular dis page..... i just have trouble with computers and directions....

On the facebook page we have a map for FE list #1, FE list #2, and FE list #1 and #2, that Mrssmiddy created for us (you're the bestest!!!)

I'm sure she won't mind creating it for list #3 once it is closed out on 9/12 (see how I am, offering up her creative services!). Until then, no reason to make it as there will be changes.

If you have a FB account, come on over and chat, we'd love to have you there! Oh and I have a DD13 as well.

Has anyone besides me starting packing yet? While I haven't actually put clothes in my suitcases, we have starting putting some clothes in an extra closet. Also, the suitcases are laid out on the bed in the extra room and a few items have found their way into the suitcases. Things I don't need in day to day life but want to make sure I don't forget for the cruise.

No official packing yet. But like you, I have clothing aside in the closets. The kids are pretty much wearing the same cruise clothes/outfits they did last year.

Actually I guess my husband and I are as well. That makes it a bit easier to know what to pack.

Going to try really hard to pack less this year. We will see!

Not packing yet, but do have few items set aside.
Excited because I now have my Pirate Pants.
Halloween costumes have been arriving as well....

I have one suitcase packed...pirate costumes and Halloween costumes. Yeah! I'll probably pack the FE gifts this weekend, just need to decide what bag they are going in.

What kind of clothes do you pack for the formal and semi nights? I have very dressy dresses and just nice more casual outfits....is it worth bringing the dressy clothes?

My DD & I are bringing basic black dresses (regular length not formal length) and will just accessorize them for them to be different for both nights. I believe my Aunt will be wearing dressy pants and blouses. You will see a variety of dressy and not so dressy....some men wear tuxes and women formal dresses and others just dress casual. It's whatever you feel comfortable wearing.

For the other nights, we will just wear casual clothes: slacks or capris, nice blouses.

We actually have formal and semi formal dresses we bought at at prom/bridal shop. We have also gone with "little black dresses" before. It's all what you are comfortable with.

For me, I know that I have this and one other cruise before my son graduates and I want nice pictures of all of us as a family while he is still home.
