Certain frequency cordless phones, the 900 mHz variety, will kill our wireless router. Could that be happening to you? I even know when my neighbor is on the phone....

Hehe I did think about that. We do have a 900Mhz chordless that we do not use because it's on the same freq as the linksys but the new Belkin is a 2.4

Yeah, they're thinking about our cruise! Staterooms are limited though and they want two connecting (or adjoining) rooms. They're checkin on things today. Everyone wants to go except they DD12 who is not so convinced! We have been plying her with all kinds of information that might get her on board.

She will turn 13 in July but doesn't seem at all "teen" like yet. And or course her brother will be 14 and doesn't want to see much of his sister. They also have a DS, 10 at time of cruise!

Well, like I said, if they go, she is more than welcome to e-mail with my dd before the cruise so that they know each other when they board. Are they checking with Carol? I know we have at least one more cabin open in our group, but I don't know if connecting or adjoining is doable at this late date.

We have a Mac airport, so it would be better for us to by a 2.4 gHz phone. We just can't find one we like. If it were up to me, we wouldn't have a land phone. We have dsl, but now we can get "ala carte" dsl without having "phone service" thru AT&T. It would save me about $60 to $70 a month. But DW must have the land line.

I must say it seems Webmaster Alex, and his crack crew of internet tekkies seem to be on the problem. The boards are running great so far!

We have thought of getting rid of the home phone and go with cable and internet phone but can't seem to change our bad habits...err I mean old ways.

I did......but because they sold out so quickly, we were in nose bleed seats!
