GOOD MORNING ALL!!

Another snow day today! It's just too cold and snowy! I have cleared the drive again, sent Steve to work and heated pancakes I made yesterday! Now I just need to get a shower! The only bad part about snow days is, the school system doesn't add extra days into the schedule for snow days, so they take away other days off...like Good Friday or a day or 2 from spring break. I am sure they will tell us which days we'll loose in the next week or so. Sometimes they even add days to the end of the year, just to make the 180. It's been nice to have an extra long Christmas Break though! My friend said they shouldn't even bother sending them tomorrow and just take the last 3 days of Spring Break instead! That works for me, but for those that have travel plans, it won't!

Well, a couple of things to report. They're cracking down at work regarding being on the internet for personal usage... Thus, I won't be able to check the thread as often as I like. Somebody did a big no-no, so we all have to pay the price.

Next, my Paralegal had to wait until the Big Guy got in this afternoon. Of course, when she told HR it was around two floors that she gave her notice within minutes. HR is very unprofessional, to say the least. But when the Big Guy came in, she went in his office and closed the door, and came out a couple of minutes later. He didn't say much to her. Let the brooding begin...

I purchased our airfare today. $618 for the both of us. Could be better, could be worse... But that is done.

Now that Christmas is over, I can concentrate on the cruise. It's exciting, all over again!

Oh no, funny how work gets in the way of fun At least the airfare is done, one less thing to worry about.

YEAH!! We get to sleep in! We are on a two hour delay for the morning, BUT I won't be surprised if they cancel school again! It's been snowing all day and it's now sticking again. Makes it hard for the buses! If anything, that just means I get to sleep in some! The boys are excited because now they can stay up and watch more of the Fiesta Bowl.

Our kids start back on Monday, it is seriously cold today but no snow. We never get a snow day.

Thanks for all the happy birthdays to my daughter!!! I showed her the posts and it put a big smile on her face!! Today, I think we are going to do girl stuff. She wants her hair cut, eyebrows waxed, lunch and shopping. Saturday is her birthday party!!!

Its awfully cold in Florida right now, brrrrrr!! It was 2 this morning, (sorry don't know the conversion), right now its only 11 (here is -11), they have closed Blizzard Beach as it is too cold. I wouldn't be very happy if I had to wear hats and mitts...

I'd die if my work ever cut off my DIS!!!!!!!!!!! I am contracted though, so I don't work on their time, so unless we crashed their server, I don't think they'd care.

I laugh at the temps in Florida, but boy, that sure would make rides not so much fun! We laughed at someplace with Blizzard in the name being closed because of cold LOL. It's cold here, or it was, yesterday it was -7 air temp when we woke up. We are supposed to be near 40 by the end of the weekend though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dd goes on a school trip to northern Minnesota to an enviromental center all next week for school, I'm hoping the warm up stays through the week, since they will be outside most of the day every day. Her birthday is then next weekend, she'll be 12.

I can't even remember all the stuff I've read in the last several pages to respond too. Smack me and remind me if I've missed important things in the last few days.

Anyone know what excursions or activities they wanna do on the cruise?
