ok my oldest son would be soooo happy to playing in that snow fort! I think I'll show him the pictures in the morning! we didn't get that much snow, maybe like 6 inches? oh well I'm sure we'll get more before they have to go back to school.

Kristin,
Good job on being 2200!!!!

The floats were pretty cool!! I have lived this close to the parade route my whole life and have only been to the parade once!! And that was because my brother in law is a mechanic for the floats and he was able to get us tickets for the good seats. I have never camped out the night before.

This is so exciting that we are in 2008...it just makes our cruise seem that much closer!!! :woohoo:

I know isn't it exciting that now the official countdown to the cruise can begin now that it is 2008???!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOO HOOOO!!!! It's a SNOW DAY! we woke up to about 3 inches of the white fluffy stuff and it's still coming down. I know, I know, just 3 inches and they call off school? I could never understand it either, until someone explained it to me. A lot of people live up hollows or on hills and if the buses can't get to them or it's not safe, they close school. Now, my theory is, if you can get there, we will teach you! I would have happily driven my kids to school...BUT I grew up in Ohio and learned to drive in it. Most people around here FREAK when it snows! I'll bet you there is no milk, eggs or bread at the store...and it will be 60 by Monday...no joking. Oh well...just another day to relax for us. The snow is too dry to build anything with...the fort would be too fun! and "snow plow man" has already been through once, so the sledding is out too. I need to go to the post office and the bank, so we'll go out in a bit. It is REALLY cold though...just 16 without the windchill!

HAPPY MONDAY!

oh yeah, we have to cheer on the hometeam for the Fiesta Bowl tonight! LET'S GO! MOUNTAINEERS!!

oooh how fun for you to have a snow day! my DS doesn't even go back to school until next monday, so for me it feels like a never ending snow day LOL

Well, a couple of things to report. They're cracking down at work regarding being on the internet for personal usage... Thus, I won't be able to check the thread as often as I like. Somebody did a big no-no, so we all have to pay the price.

Next, my Paralegal had to wait until the Big Guy got in this afternoon. Of course, when she told HR it was around two floors that she gave her notice within minutes. HR is very unprofessional, to say the least. :sad2: But when the Big Guy came in, she went in his office and closed the door, and came out a couple of minutes later. He didn't say much to her. Let the brooding begin...

I purchased our airfare today. $618 for the both of us. Could be better, could be worse... But that is done. :woohoo:

Now that Christmas is over, I can concentrate on the cruise. It's exciting, all over again!

We're horribly cold too. 8 degrees right now. And we too are going to be at 60 degrees by Monday!
I thought it was Monday all day - but I sure am glad it wasn't.
Be careful out there, and keep warm!
