Thanks. We had a "tacky magnet" contest, but I bought nice magnets from everywhere we went on the western. I am particularly fond of my "Key West - End A1A" magnet. I pm'd Kristin that I have a couple of other ideas concerning door magnets. I will have some time to make a couple of prototypes after Christmas. Gotta make a grocery store run so we will have something for dinner after church on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve will be our 13th anniversary. She made sure I could never forget that day!!

I don't mind a bit. It has been floating around the dis in some form or another for a long time. I got it from another diser a few cruises ago. I will make them electronically and email them, ready to print, to the ones that want them. They are printed on magnetic paper.

We saw National Treasure 2 last night, it was really good. Now I am dragging dh to Sweeney Todd on the 26th, he's gonna hate it! Also saw I am Legend today with DS since he missed it. Good lord, I am broke right now, but it seems I have been living at the movie theater lately LOL.

Hello again, all! Trying to get the Christmas mood going this year and I think I am on my way! Much thanks for all your kinds words in response to DH's post (fireman17) earlier this past week

Went over to the new house last night and, hard to believe, was happy to see a fully gutted-down to studs bathroom and halfway gutted kitchen/dining room! My contractor busted "you-know-what" in three days time! I thought the move back to my Dad's house would be so tough emotionally, but I actually began to get excited after seeing the preliminary stages of what our "new" home will eventually look like

Today, I spent a good time with my Dad and my three youngest kids at the Holiday Party at the nursing home. (DH on duty ) Dad was happy to see us all and continues to enjoy the kids. So, I think I will get through seeing him on Christmas Day there as well for dinner with all of us (DH and all four kids).

Then, my DS17 shared some awesome news with me today that has made me such a proud Mom! He has been accepted to the Nursing Program at the University of Connecticut for next fall! So happy for him, as this university was his first choice and he will be only about an hour away from home...I always knew he would go off to college after high school, but now I have some time to absorb the reality of my first baby being in college now that I know where he will be going!

So, all in all, even though the wrapping and misc. shopping is still pending for tomorrow, I think I will get through the holiday just fine, now that I have caught up on my rest from the Hannah Montana concert this past Wednesday. I was not up that late, however, I think ALL that screaming and rushing around really took a toll... I never knew little girls could screech for SOOOOOO long!

I agree the HM concert really wore me down....I took a nap today..While the kids helped DH wrap gifts they got for me.......The screamed forever at the concert...We just watched HM on the Disney Channel tonight.

Oh the sale at the Disney Store sounds Great. I just wonder if they have anything left....??Mine is at the mall and I am sure it is nuts there..Took DH two hours to get to Walmart today and it is ten minutes down the road.....

Sounds like you had fun with your dad today. I bet the kids really make him happy.....

The twins have been talking about meeting your daughter. They want to have you over this summer swimming......

We got both Joey and Emme a Nintendo DS Lite handheld game this year from Santa and they have ALL kinds of games, including, of course, HM and HSM! Little to the kids know that Mommy is looking forward to trying out the games a bit too!
