I hope everybody has had a wonderful weekend. My son had a t-ball game and he received the game ball. MY daughter had 3 b-day parties. It was busy but great fun.

We are 85 plus everyday and enjoying our spring weather. By Friday we will hit 90. I have been using the "outside toaster" everyday.

We are gearing up for a very busy month, b-day, recitals, school will be out in a month, vacation and etc.. To bad our cruise is not around the corner.

Is anyone else DVC members besides Erkia and I?

Now to beg for some votes. :yay: Erika mentioned to me I should post the link to a contest my best friend and I entered.Hopefully we may reach a rating to have a chance. So here goes:

You know I voted already for ya!

90, that's a little too warm for me LOL. We are supposed to hit 80 again on Sunday, it was 83 on Saturday.

I know Kristin is DVC also, not sure about everyone else.

The next two months are nuts for me too, dance rehearsals and recitals, severl girl scout field trips, memorial day vacation, birthday, etc etc etc. May is always super busy for me

I always pull my kids out of school. We try to do it for only 3 days, that's why it's October, we have a 4 day weekend that week. So far it's gone ok. Ds starts high school this fall and dd middle school, hopefully it will still go ok.

Glad everyone will enjoy their outdoor toasters this week :rotfl: , we on the other hand might not be able to use it again this week since we're getting rain on and off all week. The sun is warm but the wind is a bit cool.
I got my passporter book in today :thumbsup2 and I've been reading it since. By what I've read so far it's really informative. Ciao for now.
Hope everyone enjoys their outside toasters, I'll be inside reading and staying dry!

Yes, I noticed the same thing last night! Seems like we just started the thread recently and how long is it to our cruise?!?! :hourglass Sorry I have been "out of the loop" so long, but busy, busy, busy around here! My list of To-Do's amazingly grew while we were away last week...Lots of field trips, school activities, lessons, then the laundry, laundry and more laundry! :laundy: But, with the awesome weather we have been having (finally!:woohoo: ), who wants to be inside doing housework? :sad2: Time to go outside to play to tire the little one out.....

Hi all! Just wanted to check in to let you know that I'm alive. Things have been very hectic here! My brother got married last weekend which was a lot of fun. I had a little too much fun and didn't feel so good the next day  But it was great to see all the family and friends in from out-of-town.
DH just got a new job and accepted his offer yesterday! :woohoo: We are very excited but it's going to be an extremely busy 3 weeks! We need to pack, find a new apartment, move, and do tons of other errands that go along with moving. I'm also in the last week of graduate school so I have final exams during all of this. It's going to be very stressful (yet exciting) these next few weeks.
Hope everyone is doing well and finally getting some nice spring weather!

Joanne

I'm not really just concerned that someone will care if DS misses school, but I've been reading his new high school handbook.
He has been recommended for honors English & should be taking Algebra II by then. He can read the 6 hours to and from PC, but the Algebra?:scared1:
Missing an entire week of that may be hard.
As for the other boys, I was either taught by or grew up with the teachers. (aren't small towns great) I'll just say we had a family issue to deal with and can we make up work at home! I can still do 6th grade math!
But you are all right, my parents are going and as they age and the boys have less time for us these opportunities will be further apart!

I talked DH into a long weekend at the beach in June.:cool1: If I can keep my Spring fever in check until then!!

Thought this was cute so I would share it with all of you.!!!!
Joanne,

Glad to hear from you...

Hope all is well with everyone...

he he he! THANKS and who knows! LOL We booked our '06 cruise on our '04 cruise and there was already a thread started then too! So, I seem to post on threads that last for YEARS! LOL Maybe I'll reach 2,000 by the time we cruise! LOL

A sunny nice morning, but they are calling for sever weather by dinner time, including high winds and large hail! YUCK! I hope I can get my truck parked back in the garage before then!

We had been talking about posting photos of our families....well here's an oldie but a goodie! We all still look the same, except the boys are bigger and I am in the midst of trying to grow my hair out..but you know how that is! I am ready to say the heck with it and get it all chopped off again! ANYwho....here is our family. The day we did this, The Incredibles had just came out and the shirts were new. EVERYONE loved the shirts that day and comment on them. I got a LOT of "where did you get those shirts" questions, even from CMs! We also heard a lot of "here comes an Incredible Family!" It is SO much fun to dress alike in the parks! Not to mention, it is easy to locate family members!

COOL family picture! I love those shirts too :thumbsup2

That is a cute picture, you look like your having an incredible time!:thumbsup2

We try to at least wear the same color in the parks also, you only have to look at yourself to know what colors your kids (or parents are wearing)!

Although we did loose the middle DS for a few minutes in MK last time. He stayed close after that. Its so easy to get seperated even though we do a head count every ten minutes!:sad2:

Cool picture.. I love it.. Great idea with the shirts.....

I will try and post this weekend. I am having surgery tomorrow so I may not feel up to it..

Hope everyone has a great weekend...

I hope we do not fall to page two....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Surgery?? I hope it's nothing too serioius! Sending you prayers /\ and pixie dust *~*~*~ for a speedy recovery!!!!

Thanks for all the compliments on the photo! We had an INCREDIBLE day!!

Had some big thunder this afternoon, but all is quiet on the homefront tonight!

YAWN!!!
G'nite!

Crud! I spoke too soon! Just checked the weather and there is a line of yellow and red heading our way! Looks like we'll have a full bed tonight! LOL

:cool1: Kritter, Are ya getting spring fever?
Your not alone, I'm trying to talk DH into a weekend at the beach.:rolleyes1

I found out recently that in Oct 2007 we will only get 2 days for fall break.(not even Columbus Day week as it has been in the past)
We decided to let the boys miss 2 days of school and go ahead with WDW plans for that week.
I'm reallY concerned about 2008:scared1: I've heard we could even loose the 2 days(2008) The oldest DS will be in the 10th grade and should not miss a whole week. Its really hard to find a time when everyones out of school, the rates are not to high, and we can drive to PC.
I wish the Magic would stay in the Carribean for a summer! Guess I'm through venting!
Carmen

If it is any consolation we took all three of our kids out of school for a week each and every year they were in school, including high school. They are no worse for wear and all are doing great....youngest DD is in first year of College, middle child DS graduated college and is now an NYPD police officer and oldest DD graduated college and is working full time and attending grad school.

I would not worry about him missing a week of school in 10th grade unless he feels he will have a hard time. All my kids were good about getting work ahead of time or making it up afterwards. Good luck!!

Thanks for the encouragement MJ.
It sounds like you've done a great job and been blessed with some wonderful kids!
