It is comforting to know that they are no longer in pain, and as you said she can have a pain free Christmas in Heaven. The weather is definately awful, I don't remember having this much snow in a very long time. That is funny about Hope, our Santa out front is holding an American and Canadian Flag and their fort in the back yard has a giant USA flag, their Dad is American. So she wouldn't think anything about it. She will be very excited when the letter arrives.
And it is STILL snowing!!

I just told the girls about Jenna's snow fort. They are excited... They want to see a picture of it... We just cleaned out the playroom in our basement boy it was a mess. I can not imagine where we are going to put one more toy from Christmas...UGH!!! I kind of dread having to find places for more toys...LOL!!!! It is very organized right now but not for long I am sure of that...

Bruce has been outside since about 1:30 and iti s now 4:15 trying to clear the ice and snow from the driveway. It is times like this it makes me glad that I am not the man of house and the one to clear the driveways.....
Oh I just heard him come in. He is soaking wet.....I had better make him some hot cocoa...

Let me know that your husband makes it home safely!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. You and yours are in our prayers.
Obviously you all are having worse weather than us. After our storm we got about eight inches of snow (with no ice!), and the sun is out today. Very bright out there. Its supposed to be in the 40's by Tuesday, so it will all be gone... I myself will not miss it. It's pretty to look at, but not go in...

Our HM concert is Tues., Jan. 15. We have a month to wait! It is something to look forward to tho!

We are booked on the September 12th cruise to Tortola? There are also four of five more folks booked on the same cruise from our Panama cruise.

We are actually going on the Aug. cruise Tortola..We had thought about the September one but the kids and school, plus we would want to do WDW for the week before and we could not do that....I wish for the price that we were on your cruise.. Much better pricing....But Carol got me a great price and a FAB.. OBC!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you Kristin! they had sooo much fun today playing outside and "helping" shoveling snow. The snow has pretty much stopped now so I guess there will be school tomorrow. How are your girls doing? Did they like playing in the snow?

It is really icing outside so I think we will have a delay which will not really affect my kids since we are afternoon K......It is raining now but it is freezing on contact....Mine never went out today since it was raining soo bad in the afternoon.....DH came in from plowing and was soaking WET!!! He looked funny but we did not dare laugh at him...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need some pixie dust sent Mommyrom's way, if you haven't noticed she hasn't been on the board lately. Well, with everything going on with her Dad she has lost her Christmas spirit and on top of that her sister from Tennessee is now coming up the day after Christmas and we have no idea how it will affect Janet's Dad.
Mommyrom has been having some bad nightmares lately and it hurts me so much that I don't have all the answers for her. I tell her everyday that she has done everything right to take care of her father to keep him safe.
He's at the point now he doesn't know one day from the other so Christmas to him in his mind is just another day and that is taking a toll on Mommyrom.

Our trip is planned for 10/11/08 also. It will be me [DW], DH and DD, she will be 13 on the cruise. This is second cruise, we loved the last one! We usually go to Disney in September cause of our anniversary but we couldn't this time, but I'm sure it will be great. Last time on the ship my daughter had supervision, this time she will be a "TEEN". Will she have run of the ship, do we get a pager, beeper, GPS anything to keep track of her.
