I am SO ready for spring! The family across the street flew to FL on Thursday night. Connor called to check on his friend. He was sitting by the pool that overlooks the ocean and it was near 80 and sunny. Grrrr. Connor was happy for his friend, but jealous too! Right now Allegiant Air has one way to Fort Lauderdale for just $49! This Tax rebate can NOT come fast enough!

I guess our trip to Hillbilly Hotdogs has been postponed until tomorrow. Now I'll have that song running through my head all day!

I took a rack of ribs out to defrost for tomorrow, but maybe we'll make them tonight! Brownies sound good too! Maybe I'll make some!

We had an early spring last year... then another late winter (last of April) came in and froze out everything (three nights in a row in low 20's)... trees had leaves on them and they all turned black and fell off... it was middle of June before we had leaves on trees again. So here in the Sunny South.. we are a little leary of "early springs!

Yeppers! We have the chest, but not the ship. I will be towards the mall tomorrow, so I am going to stop and see if they got more in stock.

The idea is to decorate your door. It's just something fun to do and it helps the kids know where "home" is on the ship. I know my boys would always run up ahead to the room. Down a long hallway, all the doors look the same, but with the decorations, they were easily able to find it!

Here is our door from 2004. I think I have photos of the other doors from 2006, but that's on the desktop. I might look for them later.

Your decor can be as simple or as complicated as you want. and some folks even change the decor with the evenings events...such as pirate night. It's all up to you!

A funny storey last cruise, Michelle purchased the new aresol sunscreen for easy use. Sprayed me down with 30 block. I head off to the drink station for a coff. and quickly learned that the aersol suncreen on my hands melted the styrofoam coffee cups. The cup was stuck to my hand! This cannot be a good thing.......

We've seen some in Port Huron Michigan. One when you get off the bridge and one before you get on the bridge. I think they are only there for the Canuks LOL. (C)
