That's the only way you can use a deck here, especially living on a pond. Bugs are atrocious here! I tell ya it was a whole different world then a deck. Dh loves decks and they are super easy for him, but this thing nearly kicked his butt! He actually paid someone to put on the roof.

This is a super easy deck, just on deckblocks. It's not attached to the house so we can take it with us when we move...
