Morning Kiddies

Up earlier than I'd like cause I couldn't say awake last night

Can you still bring your own stuff on USAIR? Rich and I flew with them 5yrs ago and almost everybody on the plane and brought their own drinks(juice boxes mostly) and snacks because USAIR had just started at the time charging extra for snacks, but not yet for drinks.

My kids finally had their last day of school yesterday! Yikes - this is the latest we have ever gone. Oh well, it's worth it because that's why we have the entire week of our cruise off so no missing school
(which is hard to do once they are in high school).

My son had a party with all the guys last night - Rockband, pizza and a bonfire to burn up all the homework papers. They had a blast. My daughter was with the "girls" - a tradition on the last night of school. So today is the official first day of summer in our house!!!

My DD has to take the ACT tomorrow so she isn't quite in summer mode yet and then she starts her job on Monday as a counselor in a performing arts camp teaching dance and acting - fun job for her! DS will be mowing lawns, swimming for his swim club, hanging out with his buddies and attending drumset, church and spanish camps.

We are all getting excited for the cruise - only 4 months away!

I would imagine that you still can as long as it is purchased after you go through security!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. When we last flew there were no restrictions on food/liquids going through security. But we just ate a big breakfast after getting thorugh secirity so we wouldn't have to worry about eatting anything on board.

Where are flying out of?

We were at PHL just after Easter to pick up my sister. And I can say that the terminal has been redesigned greatly for that. Rich and I were stuck with 1 bar and a newstand in the SW terminal while most of the businesses on the map were actually AFTER security was passed through.

Course God knows they're always building something there. Gotta spend that parking money

OK, how's this for sad...

I went into the living room to get the last DCL kit they sent me( a year ago) and to get Rally up.

I remembered to get Rally up and give him breakfast. Thank goodness he had some of his seed left from last night. And then i got some mints from the kitchen, and came back here to the office.

Did I bring what i went for originally?

I tell ya I'm soo glad I'm off the weekend.

Heidi, fish guts! YUCK! LOL I think it's a great way to learn of Egypt though! Colton built his sarcophogus (sp) out of a shoebox, a dollar store barbie and some gauze. Then we bought dollar store body parts on key chains and put them in prescription bottles! LOL have a great trip to Seattle!!!

Nancy, I am starting to wonder if Josh really has the Chicken Pox? Have they scabbed over or just disappeared?? Are you sure it's not a reaction to the pool chemicals??? Hhmmm....

well, we spent the evening at HRP. I told Steve we approached it all wrong the other day. We came in with the Disney Commando theory and this park does not require it! There are only 3 rollercoasters, and one was down. There is the one dark ride, and a bunch of shows. There are 5 "big" shows in theaters and then a BUNCH of smaller shows at different areas. If we had come in and taken our time the other day, it would have been a totally different day. HRP is a slow paced, see all you can see, kind of park...not a GO! GO! GO! kind of park. We enjoyed ourselves last night and were able to see a lot of the park! They have this one cool place that we spent probably an hour in! It's a 2 story building, but it's open with a walkway around the top. Anyway, you gather balls and load them into cannons and shoot each other with them! It was so much fun!!!! Will we go back to HRP? I dunno. I am not sure that it's worth $50/pp. We have been spoiled by WDW. Even after the fireworks the boys said, "That's it?" LOL Yep, that's it! This ain't WDW.

Here it is 10am and we are just starting to move....time to get something to eat, head to the beach for a bit and then pack the car. We too, want to be on the road by 7am tomorrow!!!

Michele, that sounds like he had a great time... and that you are having a wonderful trip of your own!

I did NOT tell you the best part about the fishing... LOL! The fish REALLY swallowed the hook...all the way down. So when the fish and game gal tried to get the hook out, she ended up pulling OUT the intestines, the heart, stomach, etc! We got to have a lovely look at it all, figuring out what was the liver, what those lines were... we had quite a crowd gathered round!

I love science!

It'd be a very dirty trick if i am. Seeing as how I just spent the past 3 days with AF. She seems to be opn her way now. But she was so early we did the test anyway and got a big fat nope. If the stick turned out to be wrong, but its not. Seems for a big girl I have the world's smallest oven so to speak. so says my surgeon anyhow.

But I had some pampering yesterday and the grumpies are gone now. They weren't all because of AF but a bunch of em were. As for forgetfulness. I get that way alot Just ask Rich when you meet him.

Did I say your HRP pics were great?

Neither Rich nor i knew there was even a HRP till you posted pics. $50.00 seems like a lot for an unknown park though.

Hey Michele sounds like it was fun and glad you had a great time!!!!!!!!

as for Josh's spots, some are still kind of white in the middle and red all around, but they are not big at all!!!!!!!! it can't be pool chemicals since we hadn't put any in when they went swimming last week, just pure water!!!!! the doctor we saw said they were CP? he still has some on his upper legs that are kind of very light brown?
have a safe trip back!!!!!!!
