Sorry, had to run and bring in everything from around our pool area. Tornado warnings in effect right now we are having some bad storms so if the power goes out then that is it for me for tonight,. Boy,, Bruce and I just got our work out for tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, hope they don't get too bad Kristen. Might get sotrms here too to break the heat. We'll see.

Yikes, I thought they called off the warnings, crazy weather, got a great workout tonight!!!

UGH, buying tires, no fun! Our Mustang could use new tires, but they are expensive, so I'm dreading that.

I worked all day, then went with dh to try to buy a tennis racket for his fathers day gift. But it's really hard to pick one, you have no idea if you'll like it or not really, unless you actually play with it, then you can't take it back. I'm glad I'm not trying to pick one, way too hard!!

Supposed to storm here tomorrow, again, hopefully not too bad. I'll have to leave work if it does cuz I don't want my kids home alone in stormy weather.

Good night all, time to go read a magazine and get to bed.

Oh Nancy and Denis, sorry to hear that and having gone through it with Jenna, Jacob and Alec not very long ago I feel your pain!!!!

I haven't read through and I am sure I am repeating what everyone has said but here goes anyway, it was about 2 weeks after Jenna had it that Jake and Alec got it. Both Jenna and Jakes were pretty mild and aside from slight itching which daily oatmeal baths cured they weren't bothered at all. They didn't have any other symptoms. When Alec got it mind you (and going to get the shot didn't help so I wouldn't bother), he was out of commission, you remember he got it at WDW, he was so sore and ached and tired and stayed in bed. You may be a carrier in which case you may not get it but it is airborne and if you are in the house even being real careful its hard to avoid it. I pray that you do not get it, sending you lots of pixie dust.

thanks Gina!!!!!! I'll go out tomorrow and get some bath stuff for him......he said he's been itching since yesterday but never told us? but tonight he had dots all over his upper legs a few on the back of his neck and that's it. he's feeling fine otherwise!

Hi everyone. Checking in late tonight but blame Home Depot. This poor guy was there with his wife and little boy trying to pay for his purchases and his account wasn't active yet. I had to wait almost a half hour to get through the contractors cashier. I was picking up more lumber for the deck, 16 feet long, and I wasn't about to play dominos with everyone in there LOL
Can't wait to get started. My stepdad is coming over on Saturday. Josh should be a bit better by then.

None on his torso? thats usually where it starts. I would assume Kevin will get it, he was exposed before you even knew Josh had it. Ride it out and then its done

Sorry to hear about Josh's Chicken Pox. Hope he doesn't get too sick. I've had them so I can't really help with not getting them. I remember though that when we got itchy(my sister and me) my mom put us in the tub with Aveeno bath oatmeal.

Actually only adults (or kids!) who have had chicken pox can get shingles, and they CANT get them from anyone elses chicken pox!

Once you have had chicken pox, you have the titers in your blood. When your body is under stress, having immune issues, etc, those titers cause your body to break out in shingles. It tends to break out along nerve pathways... Sean had them last fall (shingles!) and it was just in one area over his back. We never even knew he had HAD CP before... we had to do a lab to check his titers which is the ONLY way we found out.
