Poor LITTLE guy was almost as tall as me LOL. They think it was looking at the blood vessels in the pictures of the eyes. She said it's not that uncommon and there is a name for it that has to do with blood vessels. I forget what it was.

Working as always, then meeting the inlaws for an early birthday dinner for Matthew. Oh crud, I just realized I still need to pick up a cake.

Erika, that is quite a story!!! I have one similar...I was working at Walmart in the pharmacy, and was walking to the back to the breakroom....also, about 8 months preggers. This older woman stops me and says, Excuse me, can you help me? I say, Of course, what do you need? She then proceeds to pass out in my arms!! I had to just take her and I to the floor! There was no way I could hold her up! That was just too much.....Once 911 got there, she was fine, but they took her in, just to be sure.

Yikes, at least you were able to break her fall! This poor kid, no one was able to even think about grabbing him. One second he was standing, next thing his head is smacking the corner of the door and he's at my feet.

2 dance recitals for me, that is a typical mothers day. Next year she may be done with dance, but even if she is, it will be my sons 16th birthday on Mothers Day LOL. It's all part of being mom I guess.

Hi all....back from the Dr. Seuss play and it was AWESOME!!!!!! hard to believe it was just kids in the play! the show was almost 2 hours long and it was constant singing and dancing.nobody forgot their lines at all......I'm glad I went !!!!!!!

Today was a rainy, can't go out and play, so we'll just fight all day, kind of day!! I need a black and white striped shirt and a whistle some days!!! Otherwise, it was pretty good.....

gometros! that's nice of you to offer to get Allen a hat! If the ladies don't succeed, I am sure Allen will ask you! I think he wants a NYC one though. It was my impression he wants one from each location!

Connor's field trip is tomorrow and Steve is going to go with them. I told him, If anything, his Mom and Dad live 2 hours from where he'll be. They can come and pick him up and then I'll drive up to get them. I think he'll be okay though. A little Motrin, a little Lortab, he'll be fine.

Have to think about where Colton and I will have dinner though! No sense in me cooking, right?

Candy- I probably could find out by looking back through this ever-growing thread but ok I'm lazy! What are the prom plans you are making? My DD16 is going in two weeks and I"d love some ideas to make it fun and special. Give me the scoop and all the details!

You wouldn't believe what I had to do to get that Boston hat. I was in Boston in October and was at Quincy Market. We were told to eat lunch, and we would go back later and shop....well, long story short, we didn't get to go back...mad doesn't describe what I was about that. Luckily a friend from church went a month or so ago, and he picked one up for me! I appreciate the offer. If the girls don't get there this weekend, I just might take you up on it. My first Hard Rock hat was from London, and it was white with the embroidered logo. So was my second one from St. Thomas. I haven't been able to find a white on since. So I get the khaki ones now. Thanks again, and I might call on you for that!

We are having a before prom get together with about 35 kids. I'm going to make tuxedo strawberries, I bought some sparkling cider to put in champagne flutes that I picked up at the 99 cent store, we are going to set up an area with a nice backround and have a friend take some photos. Some of the kids are renting limos and others are all carpooling. I think that's about all we are doing before the prom. We would have had more for them to snack on, but there is going to be tons of food and desserts.....including some clear containers of bulk candy the the kids will be able to scoop up and fill bags to take home!!!

Sounds like fun! We are just trying to work out all the details with our DD and her friends. We need to figure out a location for pictures and they want to have an after-prom party so the parents are working on that as well. So far all I know is that they have a limo reserved, there is a grand march at 5 p.m. (photos before); dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse and then to the dance. Quite different than when I went to prom. We just went to the high school gymnasium, danced up a storm and drove around all night getting into trouble!!!

Our prom, way back in '85, was the prom at a Country Club, then we had after-prom back at the school. In the gym there was a DJ and a refreshments table. Then, at about 6 am, we were served breakfast. I remember it was casino night, so they had parents running tables for black jack, poker, a roulette table and maybe craps? Of course, it was all with funny money, but we had a good time. THEN, the next day, we all drove to Cedar Point. It was a long crazy fantastic weekend!
