Thought you all might want to see some of the pics of what has been keeping me so busy, here is Jenna as a bunny in the play and Jacob with his castle project.

We were to guide not do, so thats what we did. I printed the castle paper for him and did any cutting that require a exactoknife. He had to present the castle and explain what everything was, I sure did learn alot about castles.

Jenna did very good, she was adorable

Hey Candy, how are you, this is the first morning I can remember in a very long time where I can just sit!!!!

The play is amazing, they all did so well, very proud of them, one more tonight and then we leave for NYC after school on Thursday.

Jake got an A on the castle project, he did very well, very proud of both my kidlets!!!

I'm doing good Gina!!!! Are the kids really excited about NYC???

Yes the kids are soooo excited, they both can't wait to go into the toy stores and Jenna is so looking forward to meeting Hanna and Hope. We are staying at the Hampton Inn, Times Square (I think), Alec has made and cancelled so many reservations, I am pretty sure thats where. We are staying somewhere close to the airport the first night as Alec has to be at work early in the morning, after he does whatever he has to do we are going to drive into the city

Mary, I am a Boardwalk gal, but if SSR was my best option to get me to WDW I wouldn't hesitate to grab it. Of course I was also happy at the All Star Movies.

I have an unrelated question: for those of you who stay at SSR, how is the experience?

I'm planning a trip in Oct. (while we are cruising) for my brother, SIL and 2 boys, 9 and 7. This is their first WDW trip - in fact, it's their first trip anywhere. They are total newbs so I want their trip to be magical. They are somewhat on a budget but don't want to stay in the values. I talked to them about renting points and they are cautiously interested.

So I'm looking for points for them and I have a feeling that SSR might be all that's available.

Any of you DVCers willing to help me sen this young family on a dream trip?

I stayed there this past September for three days, when I made a last minute decision for a quick trip and SSR was all that's left. I prefer BWV, due to its location, but we enjoyed SSR. It is a huge resort, but very attractive and not too inconvenient. If that's all you can get, you won't be sorry.

GOOD AFTERNOON!!!!!

Gina! You have really been busy!! The set is beautiful, Jenna is adorable and Jacob's castle is FABULOUS!! WOW! I don't think I could have came up with something like that! My first thought was to head for the legos!

Not much to report....Steve got his bonus today...FINALLY....so we'll be paying off the cruise and booking our flights just as soon as the check clears at the bank!!!

Oh! I did get a "panic" phone call from Jennifer today. Apparently, there is a stomach virus going around school that has left 10 - 12 teachers out and 40 some kids checked out today. I am not sure that ALL those kids were sick. How many were checked out in "panic" mode?? Anyway, I called Connor's teacher on her cell and asked what the sitch was. She said it was true that there were a lot of teachers out, but she was fine and that she sent 2 kids home yesterday and the one boy that didn't come in today was a teacher's son...who was also out today. She said that since they are in a portable, they have the luxery of only 2 classes sharing the bathroom and that they are being very diligent in cleaning it and making sure the kids are washing thier hands. I told her, I just can't have Steve getting sick. Can you imagine if he were to start vomiting and loose stools? HELLO! He'd be in the hospital for sure! Anyway, I left him at school, didn't sign him out. Although, he is asking to stay home tomorrow. We, as a family, CAN'T let him stay home. We've already got the letter in the mail from the BOE saying he has missed too many. The BOE "probably" won't close school tomorrow because we have already maxed out our snow days. If the kids don't go everyday left, the school loses money. However, they can't afford to keep the kids there either, as they are dropping like flies!! Pink Eye is also running rampent down the kindergarten hall!! Nice, huh??

Gonna make burgers on the grill tonight. I just hope the weather holds out! As Eyeore says, "Looks like rain".

I like that Epcot area too but I love, love, love GF.

My brother has looked at his budget again and says they are probably only going to do this once (yeah, right ) They are not so interested in SSR but want great access to the parks. So i'm thinking I might suggest a split stay between BC and either WL, Poly or GF. What do you guys think?

Gosh, planning for someone else is so much harder...

(I have an ulterior motive for suggesting the GF...maybe I can stay a couple of days after the cruise and watch my nephews ooh and ahh). I'm sure DH and the teens can handle all the laundry and back to school/work stuff without me.
