Welcome to all the new folks! No way can I keep up with the goings on here, but I do check in from time to time... :)

Happy Tuesday all! I got a bike last week (havn't ridden in 20+ yrs!) and we have been having a great time riding around the neighborhood and even took the bikes down to the greenbelt. Loving this springtime weather we are having... :)

Hello Heidi!!! Congrats on your new bike!!! I bet your loving it!!!

Hello,
I have read many of the posts and can't wait to get on this cruise. We made our reservations during our last cruise -March of 2007.

We are the Cain's from NC. April (DW) Mike (DH) and Brittany (DD). Brittany will be mostly communicating from here out because she is trying to meet other 12 yr old girls to pal around with.

Cheers,

Mike

:welcome: glad you will be joining us too!!!!

Well, we're almost all set for the cruise. Booked our flight yesterday. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew by choosing to fly out 6:10 in the morning, but we wanted to get as much vacation time as possible :goodvibes

Also, got our tickets this week. I needed it now, since I'm going down to WDW for a weekend in two weeks.

wow that's very early!!!!!!! but if I had a choice I would probably would want to do the same too LOL
hope you have a great time at WDW!!!!!

I feel your pain....our flight leaves a 7 AM, and the airport is a good hour away that time of morning!! But we had to get an early flight because we are 3 hours behind and even with that early flight we won't get there until 3PM!!

Have fun at WDW!!!

To be honest, I messed up by playing the waiting game. The original flight we wanted ended up filling it faster than I expected. We'll be flying from a smaller airport near my home, rather than the bigger Newark and there is only one direct Airtran flight in the morning that leaves at 7:40am. My wife has agreed to fly for the first time in 15 years and I didn't want to get stuck in the back of the plane. So we found a Jet Blue flight from the same airport. We may end up staying near the airport, just to make it easier, especially since the day before is the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur and we always break the fast with friends. Besides, we plan visiting the Kennedy Space Center, so this will give us maximum time. We can always sleep at night :lmao:

The weekend trip should be cool, since it is to meet friends that I first met on this board and have "known" for eight years. We're going to spend Saturday hitting the parks commando style and plan to prove that you can do all four parks in one day, plus end it with the Illuminations Cruise at night.

Morning All, I'm off to support my Disney habit!! :rotfl2:

Did anyone tell her this isn't even the first thread for this cruise? :lmao:

There are a bunch of chatter monkeys here, Mary. Welcome aboard.

Someone (Tour Guide Mike, maybe) once wrote it was difficult to do. We want to rpove him wrong.

If you want to get an idea of our itinerary, it goes something like this (and I realize, I lied, we're not going to do AK):

MK - TTA, Splash, BTM, HM
lunch CHH
monorail to TTC
Bus to Studios
RnRC, ToT
3pm Block Party Bash
PBR
Epcot - Club Cool, M:S, Soarin, Mexico
Dinner
Illuminations Cruise

 LOL let us know how you made out!!!! I'm guessing you have no young kids going with you? This would be totally impossible if you did!

That is a lot of work, but it would be fun!!! I think I have done 3 in a day, with just a little bit at each park.

It's all adults. No way it can be done with young kids :scared1:

Good luck to you!!! The one problem I see is the nasty nasty wait times we experienced last year at RnRC and Tot (and Soarin)! We only got to ride RnRC a couple of times as opposed to many many times in previous years. In October, the fastpasses were gone by 1 or 2, with return times 4 hours out and stand by waits of 70-90 minutes, and ToT wasn't much better.
Let us know how it works out!

Hello Heidi!!! Congrats on your new bike!!! I bet your loving it!!!

Yup... having a great time with it! It is one of those semi-recumbent types, with a back to the seat and everything. I could not keep up with Sean around the park (he would ride 2-3 laps for every 1 lap I walked!) so we figured that to have some good family outtings I really needed something to keep up... and the bike is such good activity for this fluffy body of mine... :)

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE!!

WELCOME to NCCains!! It's about time you quit lurking! Post when you can!

I don't think we have done 3 parks in one day, although, when we won the YOMD After Hours Party, we had done MK in the am, won the passes, headed to MGM for rides and dinner and then back to MK at 11pm for the party. It was a LONG day, but we had a BLAST! We were leaving the next day and we hadn't even packed our bags! We just shoved everything in a suitcase, no rhyme or reason!! HAVE FUN!!!

Hey Kristin!!!! I really enjoyed our conversation!!!!! I'm doing good.....How are you doing????? Are you getting ready for your busy day???

just got back from school and getting ready to have them come home and then it will be off to Tumble Bunnies class...!!!!!!!! How is your day??!!!!!!!!!!
