Evening all!!

Did my extra shift of sitting tonight! Now I just need to finish making dinner...'sketti....and then get stuff ready for tomorrow!

I forgot to tell you!! When I cut grass on Friday, I thought I would take some liquid soap and see if I could get my right hand ring off!! and I DID!! I was shocked! It wasn't easy, but it did! When I took it in on Saturday to be re-sized, the lady was shocked that I could get it off. I had to have it sized up one full size!! She said it probably should have been cut off, but I was glad I didn't have to! So, this evening, I ran and picked it up already!! It feels so good to have it back...especially, since Steve will be in surgery tomorrow. It's a girl thing....

Anyway, helping Connor with spelling words and making a late dinner. I'll try to pop in later!!

I'd do leftovers tonight if I actually had enough LOL. We'll see if I actually wind up cooking.

Heading up to Richmond on Saturday for a conference, then back back home sat. night. Sunday is just church and who knows what else since the NASCAR race is Sat. night. Its killing me waiting for Jr to get his first win this year.

My dh is big Jr. fan too!

Hello all

Well, the mother daughter tea party was great!!!
The lady in charge of it really did an amazing job!!!! We walked in and went to this table to decorate our straw floppy hats (the theme was "hats off to mom"), then we all sat down and had "tea" (which really wasn't tea but punch) and this huge spread of finger foods, while wearing our hats!!!!
Then she had all the girls say nice things about their moms and vice versa!!
The girls made these cute little mini hats on stands that they presented to their moms......I was lucky, I got 2!! Then we played a couple of little games!!!
It was a great bonding experience I had with my girls, I really enjoyed our evening together!!!

In a couple of hours I am going to pick up Shannon from work and take the girls to pick up their prom dresses!!! They were being altered and they are now ready!!! The girls are counting down to prom.......1 week from tomorrow!!! I told them I would take them and a couple of friends in for manicures on Wed.....I figure while I'm waiting for them, I will get a pedicure for myself since it's flip flop weather!!!

Time to just relax and maybe get to bed early.....we'll see when Steve gets home. He's been staying up late, so I know he's nervous about tomorrow. And I can't blame him!! I know I have been short with the kids today. Jenna asked me if I was mad today. How do you explain these nervous feelings to a 5 year old? Then she asked if I liked babysitting and was I going to quit? QUIT? No. I told her that I was just having a bad day. She's the type of kid that if I told her I was nervous about the surgery, she'd ask why? Then I'd have to stumble around the whole complications issue...not going there. Of course, then my mind started to wander and I started thinking, I wonder if I am doing something wrong here? Am I not taking care of the kids they way they would want me to? I mentioned it to Jennifer and she laughed and said, No, your reading way too much into what Jenna was asking.

Time for the 7th Inning Stretch!
