Easier...maybe, cheaper...that remains to be seen. My mom & dad and Mary's mom & aunt usually go with us, so per person, it is much cheaper to drive. But with the whole crew, we have to stop overnight on the way down. If it was just 2 or 3 of us, we could drive it in one day. Plus my dad has never flown, and not sure we can talk him into it...

I have parked the Suburban during the week and driving the Bug back and forth to work. Much better mileage!!!

The burb has a 32 gallon tank and gets 13-14 mpg in town...easy $90 fill up if I let it run down. The Bug...$40 fill up and last 2 to 3 times longer!!!

I know what you mean.....I've been driving our Maxima more lately while Randy sleeps....that's usually the car he drives!!
