funny...I don't drink beer. ack. Can't even stand the smell. I will cook with it though. I am a total light weight and I know it! I don't care much for wine either. I prefer girlie drinks....daiquiris, margaritas, coladas, fruity mixed drinks....you get the idea!

I'm the same I much prefer having a girlie drink than a beer anyday...but if there is NOTHING else around, then I'll have a beer LOL

well, I am going sign off so I can get a few things done. Don't have to work tomorrow, but I am going to drive both kids to school and then go right on to Walmart. Steve has inventory in the morning, so he has to be at the store at 7. We'll both be battling for the shower at the same time...and no, there's only room for one!

I just had an email from a neighbor of ours from the cottage (whom is actually coming on the cruise with us). Apparently with all this warm weather the spring water run off is flooding many areas. They just let me know that the area our cottage is on the Trent River has just been declared a state of emergency due to the flooding. Well needless to say I am heading to the cottage first thing in the morning to check it out. The water has been rizing at about 1 inch per day since monday. The township is supplying resident with free sand bags and sand. hhhhmmm
What am I in for... Well there is nothing I can do but move things to higher ground.
So there's my drama for the evening.... Thank god I have a great sense of humor. Maybe I should bring some Bounty paper towels (they are the quicker picker upper)LOL

Its a 2 hour drive, but I will drop Michelle and Rebecca off at her mums in Lindsay and pick up my father in-law to come with me. Hopefully the water will be high and we get some spring projects done. I'm planning on replacing the panelling in the bathroom. Last spring I great by a big black squirrel that got in and built a nest in our electrical cupboard. It scared the ##!** out of me went jumped out. The nest had babies in it. We just moved it outside and the mother came for the young. Every year is something. No wonder cottaging and alcohol go hand in hand.
