Filling!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My SIL made these potatoes with cheese dish that was to die for! I ate way too much. And she had carrot cake that was heavenly. Guess what I have for lunch today? Potatoes, ham to put in them, and carrot cake. So much for my diet!

Sounds like it was a yummy Easter....

Spring break is here and we are SLUGS! LOL

Steve went to work, and I told the boys, there will be NO WII until this house is cleaned up! They were none too pleased! Oh well. I have told them before, I don't create all this mess, so I don't want to clean all this mess. PLUS, if I do it myself, it would take me about 5 hours. With the 3 of us doing it, we can knock it out in just about 2.5- 3 hours.

Tomorrow we are going shopping in Columbus, OH. I have to do a search on the mall, see what stores and restaurants they have and then look for coupons online to take with us!

The boys are in Robin Hood this week, which means I get to hang out at the theatre with them (Sean) all day for the next 6 days... AHHHH! Spring BREAK? LOL! Auditions are this morning, and they perform on Saturday, twice! It is amazing what Missoula Children's Theatre can do with a group of kids in a weeks time!

I've never heard of Dorothy Lane Market! I will keep an eye out for it. I am thinking we will have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory though! It looks YUMMY!!! The great thing about going to Columbus is there is such a variety of places to shop and eat! Nothing like what we have here!

Ok, FAQ has been updated.



Carryons:

Carryon rules have not changed. No hardside Igloo-style coolers. NO ICE. A rolling softside cooler bag full of the beverages of your choice is acceptable as long as it can go thru the airport style scanner they use at the entry to the terminal. The small rolling check luggage airlines allow is your guideline on size. Your carry on can contain other foodstuffs, they cannot require any food prep from the kitchen. Just be reasonable on what you bring is a good guideline. Also be aware there are drinks and snacks available for sale in the terminal.

Do we need to get DCL permission to bring a soft-sided cooler with ICE PACKS needed to keep medicines cold? We will put these in a smaller soft-side cooler inside the bigger rolling one.

I'm hoping with a prescription label on the cooler for the meds, the ice packs will be OK??

Glad to hear we can still carryon beer/wine/CHAMPAGNE/juice boxes! And I guess we will carryon a 12-pack of water bottles, then just refill when needed.

I may be calling DCL to confirm...

It's too stressful planning a vacation! But I know it's all worth it once we step on "the castle boat," as my DD3 calls it!

Hello all!!!!
Sounds like everyone had a great Easter!!!!
Ours was pretty uneventful....we just went to church and hung around the house, Randy had to work so he spent a good part if the day sleeping, then he left for work at 5PM!!

Erika, don't feel bad about not giving your kids baskets, I haven't given mine any for a couple of years...they aren't bothered by it!!

It has been so hot out here!!!!! It got up to the 90s in some places yesterday!!!!
I actually broke down and turned on the AC in our house because our thermostat read 80, so I turned it down to 78......what a difference 2 degrees makes!!!!

I think that Dorothy Lane is more in the Dayton area than in Columbus itself, but well worth a detour... LOL! When we visited friends there last year and stayed for several weeks we went to DL several times... their bakery and deli section is to die for, I would be willing to put them up against the food on the cruise!

You will enjoy Cheesecake factory. Bring empty stomachs, they serve a HUGE amount of food!

Now.... auditions today went well for the boys. Sean will be a Forester (some guy that lives in the forest and dresses in camo, like a tree or a bush). Kaj will be .... drumroll please.... ROBIN HOOD! Wow... he is tickled and SO excited!

Hi everyone, just thought I'd say a quick hello. We booked Vero Beach from the Sunday to Friday before the cruise!!!! We are going to the MNSSHP on Friday night and will probably stay onsite and drive to the port in the morning!! Can't wait. We just got home from WDW and we are already on the phone booking our next vacation.

I am going to try to read a couple of pages now.

The ice causes problems with the x-ray machines. You will likely need to keep the cooler with the meds out of the other cooler and I'm sure they will "hand inspect" it. But just to be sure, I would give them a call, and see what they say do.

We are not allowed to record the play ourselves, however they ARE making DVD's of the performance, and we will for certain get those! Planning on bringing it with me on the cruise, so in case anyone is BORED they can watch it then! I am sure I will have photos though that I can put on our Caring Bridge website...
