Brian is going to make the chili tomorrow night to take with him to scouts over the weekend. Poor guy gets to make dinner for 10 hungry boy scout dads... LOL! Awwww.... figured that chili and cornbread would be easy AND filling. He is a little concerned about the BEANS part of it though, any suggestions as a replacement?

That coffee cake looks yummy! I made enchilada's tonight for dinner and really NEED something sweet now to calm my mouth a bit!

I don't go crazy for beans either, so I just picked them out and gave them to Denis LOL we only put one can in there so there wasn't much of it!

How about just taking a bottle of Beano with him? Then if the guys want to 'protect' themselves from the aftermath of chili, they can.

good evening everyone!!!!!!
I am soooooo tired tonight, I did way too much today and now I feel it!!
had to shovel the driveway AGAIN this morning from all the snow we got last night, then I decided to fold the laundry, then I washed the floor, vacuumed, cleaned the aquarium.... phew.... I'm beat LOL so now I'm sitting and not moving until I go to bed later on.!

Its gonna be a nice weekend... he and Kaj are camping, Sean is going on his first ever sleep over, and I get the house to myself! (other than being on call in case Sean NEEDS me during the night... LOL!).

Hmmm.... time for a mommy's sappy movie night.. any suggestions?

He's pigheaded. He's been up since 5am, worked alllllllllllllllll day, came home, helped make dinner, helped put the kidlets to bed, read a story, helped clean the aquarium, then went downstairs and did more ugh mudding in the laundry room which is now half done. He's beat LOL

OH!! And just for the record, I don't officially spring clean...I just do a little bit here and there all through the year. Now my friend and neighbor, she literally cleans her house from top to bottom...emptying kitchen cupboards, washing the miniblinds in the garage, cleaning the windows inside AND out, and moving all her furniture to wash walls and baseboards. I don't know HOW she does it!

I am, I can feel it all over my body! I had to escape after dinner and have a hot bath to relax my muscles LOL but now my hands hurt really bad, think it's the start of arthritis, need to mention this to my doctor next time I see him

Wahhhhhhhhh, we aren't sure we can fit the couch in the basement as a home theater group, might have to go for a sectional with only 2 recliners on the ends instead of 4 . We have to check a couple more stores first.

Do they make a 2 seat hometheatur seating, and then you can just scootch them together? Or a 2 seat recliner with a table in the middle...that's what I am picturing anyway.

ok first of all, your work requires for you to SIT down all day and not running around, next you did not make dinner, the only thing you did was to turn the oven on!!!! sheesh yes you MUST be sooooo tired
