well I was going to make french toast but Denis is still sleeping and I was getting hungry so I just had cereal and raisin bread...boring I know!!! LOL

Well, we have become slugs today and I hate to say it, but I think we are going to miss church, BUT there is a lot that needs done around here, so it won't be time wasted. Idle hands are the devils tools. No one will be idle here in a few minutes.

That hawk was back this morning terrorizing the squirrels and the blue jays. It was quite comical really. I am going to have to get the binoculars and leave them in the kitchen for a few weeks so we can watch more closely.

Connor is up and moving and Steve just walked downstairs, so it is time to get Colton out of bed and get some chores done.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENIS!!

Top of the morning feller cruisers!!! Many thanks for the birthday wishes. I don't feel older but I have no idea where my hair went too.
The little monsters came to wake me up. What a surprise. You know how the alarm clock rings at 5am and reality kicks in you have to get up, get all mad and throw said alarm clock against the wall? I know I know, some people use hammers and thrash the clocks but that is not my style. Anyways the giggling and squeaky voices, I knew it was the kids and they were holding a birthday card and gifts so I had to change my way of waking up and spare them...
It was a nice way to wake up, I got my gifts, read my card and then got dressed and came downstairs.
Sigh...things are back to normal, the kids are fighting.....
I'm still full from yesterday's chilli but I have to do something to make room for today LOL
