We've had our bed almost 5 years, and I just left then that way LOL. Even worse is the mattress pad, that doesn't stay on at all, it only hooks on the pillowtop all the way around.

I am laughing because I have sheets that did that on our old bed. I won't even try them on this bed! They gave us a mattress pad..it's not really a pad, but a dust mite waterproof protector. It's really thin and terry cloth...like a washcloth! LOL But it's guarenteed to protect the mattress and they will even replace the mattress if it should malfunction! www.protectabed.com I was able to find them A LOT cheaper at online retail stores and EBAY. I might get them for the boy's beds.

Well, I know that if I had seen them in the store, I wouldn't have bought one! the Matteress Warehouse has them priced at $139!!! I have found them at EBAY for $40, delivered! That's why I am thinking about getting them for the boys beds. I am going to look and see if Walmart has something about the same.

they had 2 different ones at the store, the expensive one and the cheap one. We went for the expensive one just because it felt softer and thicker than the other.

I fogot I do not have two round cake pans anymore I needed to buy new and did not ever get around to it...!!!!!!!!!!

Should I just bake a sheet cake?? Or can I make two round ones in two pie pans>????

I hope someone sees him go thru and if there is a way to make a picture of it I'd love to see it... I sent the link to work today and checked it... sure enough, ACCESS DENIED .... so doubt if I get to see them go thru... I have left a voice mail for someone from IT to contact me to see if I can get the access lifted just for a couple of hours. No reply back from them yet. I had thought no problem, as I would still be here from the surgery, but since I had to postpone it... I'm bummed out...

OH... surgery is rescheduled for March 28th.

I know the feeling. Seriously I have logged in here twice from work, I am surprised it hasn't been blocked yet. But I did try the canal site and you can right clic and save pic. Personally I like the Miraflores locks better for the view as the Gutan locks have a bad camera angle. I plan on having all my work done early that day and making an early escape.

Don't use pie pans, they won't be deep enough. I would use an 9x13 instead. then you can decorate the top!

Thanks... I'm still gonna hound IT to let me access it... may not work but the worst they can say is NO! If it's early enough I may stay home and watch... it takes a while for the ship to go thru the locks.

Should we let them pack a nerf gun each and they can chase each other down the hall with them? HHmmm....something in my mommy brain says that might be frowned upon...but something in my kid brain says it sounds like fun! LOL Connor loves to watch AP and they always try to watch the shows about what life would have been like when the Dinosaurs roamed the earth...I am pretty sure that is the show you're talking about?

today we had a few military jets fly over! It was LOUD. I just knew by the time I got outside they would be gone, so I didn't even rush out....but I wish I would have been close enough to a window to look. A few weeks ago we had 2 shanook helicopters fly over...those are the ones with 2 propellers, one in the front and one in the back, right? I was able to see them as they were going slower, but they were also VERY loud. We have an air national guard unit in Charleston, so I am assuming they were heading there.

Cough cough...helicopters do not have propellers, they have rotors LOL
