We looked at SouthWest and they only have flight prices until Aug 22/08. They dont release the fall prices until April apparently....They too also have direct flights from Buffalo.

We would love to fly Jet Blue, but everything from Los Angeles seems to go through New York. That doesn't make much sense to us.

I think everything on Jet Blue goes thru NewYork...I checked into flying them for October, but you go to New York first...I have been to NY, I didn't lose a thing...no need for me to go back! I think the saying is, you either love it, or hate it. Well, I don't love it...don't hate it, but it's not for me!!!

Back from the party. It's just yucky outside. rainy and foggy.

Denis, what a mess with your ressie! It doesn't make sense that you can't fly in the night before. The only other option is to maybe transfer your ressie back to DCL and then add the air? Will they let you come in the night before? Surely they will? Then maybe you can transfer it back to DU to get the extra stateroom credits? Sounds difficult, but maybe doable?

Well I sent emails to both DCL and DU so we will see what Monday brings. In reality we should have added air to the original booking with DCL but we didn't. Now DCL says it's out of their hands since DU owns our ressie. I am not happy with the answer I got from DU since it is a lot more than what I found online with 2 companies that fly Toronto-Orlando directly but maybe the price DU gave me has more options. Maybe between the 2 TA's they can sort something out...

It was fun, stuff is too expensive though especially when you can get scrapbooking stuff at Dollerama and its awesome!!

When we flew SW for our first trip we got $29 each way!!!! We usually pay about $69 each way with SW. Keeping our options open not sure if we are flying out of YYZ or BUF.

I know what you mean about how expensive scrapbooking can be!!! that's why I want to get into digital scrapbooking! I'm trying to learn it now, but it's kinda hard to do anything when little Kevin is around, I'll have alot more time to myself this fall when he starts school !!!!!!!

That's what we are doing.....we had the air and transfer package and we had them take it off our ressie because we thought we could do better on our own....plus we wanted to stay at the port, and we like having control of when we arrive and how many stops, if any!

I'm glad my air is booked already. But, like you, we are a hub city for NWA so airfare out of here is always nuts! This year it's way worse than normal. I'm so glad I booked early, because most flights now are $450-$650 right now!

My chocolates are ready to take to the post office tomorrow, better late than never right??

Anyone ever gotten their hair done onboard for formal night?

My kids are spending the night at Grandpa's tomorrow night, and we have no plans. Usually we find something good to do to take advantage of it, but right now, nothing. We have to shop for light sconces for the basement we are finishing, sounds like a hot date right?

I almost ate a whole bag of jellybeans, and all the chocolates are gone from Gina, and Nancy!!!!!!!

I just took a Benadryl so get ready I'll be out soon...LOL!!!!!!!!!
GOt some rash on my leg that is very itchy and it is black ad blue in a spot...NOt sure what is going on with that...I must have banged it but the rash??

We will keep eachother company. Our van went in for a new starter and tune up, nice chunk of change right before we leave, thankfully though it did it while we were home and not on the road headed to FL

Just making a tea and I popped a couple of choclates in the freezer, I love my chocolate cold but I am the only one which is good as I have to wait for the chocolate to get cold so I don't eat as much.

You would probably be better off booking your own flights.

that would be a LONG night for us to stay up with you but I would do it if I didn't have to get up so early the next day LOL

There are 2 morning direct flights from Nashville every day, so we will likely be on Southwest.
