Glad you had a GREAT trip we missed you..

How long till we have to start a new thread?? Anyone want to guess???

At this rate, we'll have 8 chapters by the time we cruise. I bet the site owners love us! Clogging up thier space. :confused3

Going to be a quiet night. Connor has had some trouble with his stomach. Certain foods make him sick....we have been keeping a diary of foods and emotions, but have not nailed anything down. anyway. Long story short, I had to go get him from school today. His day started at 5 am when he woke with a bellyache, by 10 it hadn't gone away and he was afraid the vomiting and diareah would start. He is in the shower and getting ready for bed. He is exhausted. As for finding out what is wrong....we have done blood work and all is well. Just waiting for him to have another attack so we can get a stool sample, then we go to the GI. If I can't get a sample by the end of February, we'll just have to see the GI without one.

Everyone ready for Fat Tuesday!? :rotfl: Maybe tomorrow I'll go to the hobby shop or the party store and see if they have those little plastic babues and I'll make some cupcakes and call them our king cakes! That might be fun for the boys!

The people I sit for are taking the kids to see Go! Diego Go! tomorrow, so I'll get off about an hour early, so I'll have some time to myself!

I, hope you find out what is going on with Connor soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have had no problems eating them all in one sitting they looked that good!

thanks for the well wishes for Connor. He did this last year, but his teacher was the devil in a skirt, so we chaulked it up to nerves. at that time, He took a 90 day treatment of pepcid ac and was fine all summer. Over Thanksgiving, he started with the attacks again. I call them attacks because they only last about 3 hours. He gets it "all" out of his system, rests for about an hour and then wants to know what he can have to eat! It's the wierdest thing. Anyway, he took a 30 day treatment of pepcid this time, had the bloodwork done over the Christmas Break, and stopped the pepcid Jan1. Now we wait for another attack. The pediatrician thought that something would have showed in the bloodwork, but EVERYTHING was within limits. :confused3
Connor just came back downstairs...he's SO tired 'cuz he's been up since 5am, and now he is worrying himself...what if I get sick? I don't want to wake you? Poor guy...he just needs sleep at this point.

Food allergies????? That' what happened to me about 40+ years ago and then I started breaking out in hives... finally had three trips to ER almost going into anaphalicit (Spelling?) shock, lips and nose and throat swelling shut. All three trips happened after eating beef... no beef in 40+ years and no more digestive or allergy problems... I have to be really careful... life threatening.

Anyone going to watch Jon and Kate tonight???!!!!!!!!

Sandra, one of his triggers is pizza...but we are not sure what element it is! Like one day, we ate a Sonic...he had chicken fingers, fries and a milkshake....all of which he had before, but it triggered an attack. Of course, we were traveling that day, so was it the stress of the trip? the food? I dunno. He had pizza last night during the game, and today he's been sick most of the day...but not physically ill, just bad stomach pains. Some else suggested milk allergy...but he drinks milk all the time and has icecream almost everynight. Someone else suggested an allergy to tomatoes or red sauce. I would go with that, but the boys puts ketchup on EVERYTHING! LOL It will probably end up being something weird like an ingredient in the bread.
Thanks to all of you for your support. Until we see the GI, we're kind of at a loss as to what this could be. I am just hoping there is nothing physically wrong..like with his gall bladder, kidneys or intestines!

Just, made the DCL chocolate Lava cake for dessert tonight.. It is too die for!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always forget that Jon and Kate are on Monday nights. I have to admit, I am enjoying the silence in my house right now! the only sounds are my fingers hitting the keyboard and the crunching of the Fritos between my teeth! :rolleyes1 The boys are in bed and the dogs are snoozing at my feet. Life is good.....
