HI there everyone! Its been a few weeks since I've had the chance to sit down and check out the thread so I'm totally out of touch...

We have been crazy busy. We had family over from Scotland staying with us the last 2 weeks. Did Canada's Wonderland, Blue Jay game, and spent some quality time at the cottage and sitting by the pool at home.
Just over a week ago Michelle suprised me with a suprise 40th birthday party. It was so nice!
Were now on the count down to when we leave for SSR & AKV on the 17th of August

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer. What's new?

Hey Alex!!!! My dh would have killed me if I gave him a 40th party. I did that on his 30th, and his first words were "you suck" LOL!!!
We are still thinking of tagging along with you guys in the AM on St. Maarten, my guys are for sure doing the Regatta until 11:30.

I have taken another step to prepare for the cruise. I got mine and Alexa's patch prescriptions filled at the pharmacy

Yea I know, I understand them raising the prices but why so much??? Cause Kristen was saying that it will be the most that the price has been raised I just dont get it...

I guess it just hits a nerve more now though because I feel for those who are out of jobs or work or just scrimping to get by and maybe wanting to plan a trip to Disney but that price increase may prevent them from doing so Fortunantly that isnt my case for now...but my parents live day by day. My dad has been out of work for quite some time and if it wasnt for my wonderful MIL and FIL with odd jobs to help him pay the bills I am not sure they would make it each day...They planned to go on the cruise with us in May and then my dad lost his job...now he isnt one to ever get to go on vacations or do things like that because usually it costs too much for the whole family to go (he usually just sends my mom and sister...and me when I wasnt married). So I was afraid that The 1st ever Cruise that he was looking forward to so much, would have to be cancelled for him Thankfully we are able to help them out for that (but one day that may not be the case). My dad has been looking for work for quite some time where he lives and there isnt anything out there So tomorrow he has to come down here to Miami (3 hours away) to try to find a job. And now he has to tell the Job (IF he finds one) that he has to have off the first week in May for the cruise, which who knows how that will go Unfortunantly this isnt new to my family...this has been that way almost my entire life And although I dont personally live in his house or have to deal with it first hand, I do feel for others that have to live the same way as them...so Raising prices unfortunantly hits a nerve

That would probably work out well if we do that, since you will have Regatta folks meeting up with you too when they are done?? I have wondered how dh and ds will find us after.
