Actually, I just finished making it! LOL I ended up making on the stove, like the directions call for. The boys thought it would be gross, so they had frozen pizza for dinner, hours ago. I ate so much salsa, that I am really not hungry, so I just made it for when Steve gets home. I'll have a bite of it when he gets home. It smells SO good! I have never made it before, but if you look at the reviews on AllRecipes, where I found it, it just gets raving reviews...all 5 stars! I didn't use the red wine, as I don't have any, so I just used more beef broth. That was the only thing different that I did.

Hi Everyone!

My extended family is all going on the Oct 11 cruise . Half of us are new to cruising and half are only new to Disney cruising. The group consists of my parents, sisters, my brother-in-laws, my nephew (1 year) and myself and my husband. Thank god we are all in our own cabins for a total of 4 room reservations.

My question is in regards to Palo reservations, can one room make the reservation for all 8 of us? If not what is the easiest way to get reservations for 8 and reservation for flounder for the same time?

Hi There and welcome aboard! To answer your question, IF your reservations are connected/linked to each other, then one person (cabin) can book palo for the group. At least that they way it has been in the past. My husband and I have two cabins (which the reservations are linked to each other) When we could make ressies, I just had to long into the cruise line site and when I chose the Palo time, it asked me if the other adults linked on the ressies was going to join. It actually listed my hubby by name and I had to check the box next to his name to include him.

I actually had some time tonight to post on the thread!! It has been extremely hot around here the last week. Thank goodness we have a pool in the back yard. We have been spending our days out there!

Michelle, is this going to be your first Eastern or have you been on an eastern before? I know we crusied together last time when we did Costa Maya and the double dip as Castaway Cay, right?

Ok now a question about the cruise...Is there a list of activites or meet ups or what nots going on for us? I mean I would like to do the group pic or something like that...Not sure what all we can join in on with the lil guy but I would at least like to stop in and say hi to everyone a few times

Julie, My Mom said it was pretty toasty up there! All they have are window A/C units, but it cools the house enough to make it comfortable! Stay cool!!

This is our first Eastern. We did the double dip with you and then the cruise before was the 4 night Wonder which stopped in Nassau, but we never got off the ship that day. On such a short trip, we wanted to enjoy as much of it as we could!

Hi Shauna! We haven't planned anything in stone yet! Still throwing ideas around. I am thinking, at this point, we'll probably be together for the sail away and then a photo-op at some point. But nothing else really!

It was VERY good! I will make it again for sure! I had a few italian sausages to use up, so this recipe worked well. However, it really is more of a fall/winter stew/soup than a middle of July recipe. LOL It was good and filling though!
