It's hot, hazy and humid today with scattered showers. Same as it's been the last few days. Monday it's only going to be in the 70s though! Got to love that!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, she had a great bday, we took 11 kidlets to see Wall-E, it was cute but not usual pixar/Disney calibur. Then we did the family thing today. We are all pretty tired. It has been a busy week. I have no idea what I have missed but I hope everyone is doing okay out there.

I received my Ph.D at Oregon and Shawn his BA degree.

We are here and having A BLAST!!!!!!!!!! Today, when we got here we hung out by the pool, then had dinner here at SSR with our friends who live here. The kids are all trying to go to sleep early so we can go to SWW tomorrow @ Hollywood Studios...Our friends son is sleeping here tonight @ SSR with us so we are taking him with us tomorrow too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, my dad has Parkinson's. It has become difficult for him to travel. Sad, his mind is sound, but his muscles won't let him function normally.

You know, honestly I have never searched the internet for information on him. Didn't even realize he had a Wikipedia page. His occupation did allow for meeting some neat people. I did know that he was the first ever employee of NASA - trivia answer for you. Kind of cool, but really he is just my dad.

Shawn's dad was an engineer with NASA. Small world, our father's had the same employer, but we meet at UC Irvine.

I bet that's what Tom Cruise's kids say too!!! I guess it's one of those things that we hold people on a pedastal and we don't think that they are just Dad or just Mom to thier kids.

Steve is still crunching the numbers HIS way. I think he is determined to do this! Really, I don't care. Sure, it's a BEAUTIFUL truck and drives like a dream....OMG, what a difference! BUT, I am also very content in the truck I have. I am sure we'll be back tomorrow. Joe starts his shift at 1, I am sure we'll be there!
