Oh,, that sounds like fun it rained and was soo windy here last night.. The kids have a b-day party at 11:00 so my neighbor and I are taking the kids and dropping them off and then going shopping while they are at the party.. Then we are coming home and going to carve our pumpkins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds fun!!!!!!! when did you get your pumpkins? we had to wait for this weekend since it rained all of last week and yesterday we had company coming over for dinner. we don't carve our pumpkins until the night before, they get all mushy looking if we do it too soon!!!

The kids went to the pumpkin patch one Friday before we left and they look great still. We have to carve them today since during the week with school, etc. is too hard to do. I know they will not look good by Friday but we are going to friends house to trick and treat with them and then go to a party in their neighborhood. So it kind of stinks that we need to do them today!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad halloween is on a friday this year!! I hate it when it's in the middle of the week and then they are tired the next day at school!!

Good morning everyone!

I sure wish I was planning another cruise...

To those with high schoolers (or about to be), there is no way my kids could miss a week of school and not pay a heavy price. Sad but true. My kids are both in honors/AP classes so the pace is faster but my niece who is in regular classes just missed one day and it took its toll. (She does struggle a bit with school, however.)

Hey, have any of you received some weird credits on your credit card account from DCL? Both my sister and I have like 4 or 5 weird amounts credited to our accounts on Oct. 22. Do you think it could be port fees since we didn't get to St. Thomas? That's the only thing we could think of. I'm not complaining, mind you, but just thought it was interesting...

Very blustery here today (hold on to your pumpkins, Erika!). Off to celebrate mother-in-law's 80th birthday. Have a great day everyone!!!

I have not decided what to do about our next cruise yet! I want to talk to a few of my friends that have kids in high school and see what they say. Another factor we have to think about too....Colton wants to be in the Marching Band at the High School. Missing a week of that could mean missing a new song or routine. Dang kids.....LOL

I dreamt last night that we took BOTH cruises! LOL That ain't gonna happen though!!!

I think I need to plan a trip to WDW for this summer.....Have something to look forward to! Well, I guess I should focus on our family trip to Hilton Head Island!!

It's yucky here today, 40MPH winds, cold and a chance of snow today. YUCK!

I found our treadmill on Thursday night and just about fell over when this massive puff of dust bunniesflew out of it. I was on low speed to boot!

OK, we left for church it was 46, it's now 38 and SNOWING horizontally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so nasty!!!

Mary, yes, several of us have gotten the credits, the only thing we can think of is maybe the port charges are lower in Nassau than St. Thomas??? It's funny, we would never have known that, so there is no reason they had to refund that money. Ours was $38.40 for 4 people, in 2 credits. Is that what yours is?

Matthew is a sophmore, and in honor Chemistry and AP Stats, he missed 3 days. He always seems to do OK with that, hopefully that continues to be the case.

Yes it is nasty! We have to drive from Eagan to Maple Grove and I told DH we'd better leave extra time just for the wind factor!

We had 5 credits totaling $142.77. (there were 5 of us)

Matthew must be a good student! I know my DD, who is a senior, would have a tough time missing a week (maybe she could handle 3 days). She is taking AP Lit, AP Government, Honors Physics and CIS (College in the Schools) Spanish plus her other regular courses. I hate that we have so little time left with her at home!

Hey everyone. I have not forgotten you all, Just busy trying to get moved into the new house. We have most of the big stuff moved into the new house (in the spare room till we get it all organized). We will probably finish up getting everything out of the old place later tonight...then we have to go over and clean it up before the first. Im glad that Mike decided to move in this weekend instead of waiting till the last second.

Tons of work to do and I am just supposed to be getting lunch right now...at 2pm and bringing the guys some food as well, but I had to stop in to say hi to everyone and that I havent forgotten you all. Im at DMIL'S on the puter since ours is someplace in the new house...dont have a clue where yet.

Just trying to help Connor with his Science Report. Teacher isn't too happy that it's not been turned in yet, but guess what? We have been swamped with stuff to do this week and something had to give. Unfortunetly, it was Connor's science. Oh well.....

Steve is making dinner tonight!! He made us reservations at Hibachi!! Ate out last night and now tonight too!? Wow...what a treat for me!! and no dishes to clean up!

Off to run the sweeper and clean the bathrooms...it's the least I can do today! LOL

What did he end up doing for his science report? Alexa ended up doing a paper on killer whales, with pics of Shamu we took at Sea World. We didn't find anything on the ship, nor were we looking all that hard, for something for a life science class. I have no idea what her teacher thought about it yet LOL.

Spoiled rotten you are!!!! I am making lemon chicken with rice... (just love those box dinners where all you add is the meat! LOL!). Last night was turkey burgers... Tomorrow is scouts, but with everyone sick, who knows if anyone is GOING!

Nice restful day today... everyone slept in. Sean didn't get up till 10, I was in bed till 10:30, Kaj was more like noon! So no church for us, but with the sickies, we didn't belong there anyway! Next week hopefully...

Might check in later, or maybe not. Sean and I are going to snuggle in bed and watch a movie (Night at the Museum I think it is called? He has been watching HUNTING shows on TV this afternoon and is especially excited about the African hunting that is on right now! LOL!)
