Hi there Kristin,

Your so right there, Yes we are very excited about re-booking the the Transatlantic for 2010 (that helps alot with coming home). Sorry we didn't get much of a chance to sit and talk with you and Bruce. I'm sure you were just as busy as us on board. Travelling with 2 sets of close frineds/family and small children didn't leave much time for us to relax and sit and chat to everyone. Hopefully we'll get a chance at SSR.
How about you guys? Did you rebook anything? I know you have one for next year, but how about the transtlantic? I know Gina and Alec did and I think (with a little work) we could talk Erika and Steve into it. (What d''ya think Erika if your out there).
It is such a magical experience for the kids and big kids (myself included). Michelle made me promise to wait a few months before I start our 2010 countdown. Which I agreed to, only cause we are in SSR/OKW in december and SSR/AKL in the end on jan (which I still need to find flights). So needles to say I have plenty of planning still to do.
This was a wonderful group of families to travel with which added to the magic.

I would kill to do the transatlanic, but there is just now way. Matthew will be a senior in high school at that time, so there is no way they could miss that much school or us miss work. I sure wish we could though, we would love to.

The goodbye pic I took of Rebecca and Maggie at Topsiders on Saturday is really cute, I'll be sending that your way when I get them all sorted out.

Candy, your ankle looks as bad as it did at the terminal yesterday? That looked so sore try to baby it for awhile! Did Pablo tell you we saw him in line at a tollbooth yesterday? It was pretty funny!

Being home just stinks, and work is gonna stink even more tomorrow!!!!

The release for Shutters works great, I had a couple copied at Target today, as long as they saw that paper they were fine.

I think my computer chair rocks more than the rest of my house. I need to be up and moving and I'm fine, but sitting here is really brutal!!!

Good to know about the release.. I am going to have to go to Walmart and try it this week for sure.

Poor Hanna was crying tonight as I put her to bed she does not want to go back to school tomorrow.

She became friends with one of the CM's on this trip named Erika, she is in charge of the characters and we saw her almost everytime we were in line to see the characters. When we got off the ship @ CC she was there and said to Hanna and Hope that she has a surprise for them on Friday night and to meet her in Studio Sea at 10:05 and she would be there. She was there and so were all of the characters before the show they did in the Atruim. She had arranged for the girls to see all of the characters in a personal meet and greet what a GREAT surprise it was and an emotional one for all of us. We gave her our email address and are planning on keeping in touch with her. Hanna wants to send her something to the ship. The CMS are GREAT and the "little extras" that they do just make it all the more magical.....

I hate the fact that tomorrow it is back to reality.. I can not adjust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who went to the Halloween Party have one of the maps that they handed out that night who does not need it?? Would you be willing to send it to me. A friend had wanted one and I promised him I would get him one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect! A dummy date works well, ( that was our plan if we didn't book the transatlantic).
Your kids are still very young and there is nothing that important they will miss in school. Plus as everyy teacher has told over the last 5 years of pulling Maggie out is that they will learn more on vacation than they could ever learn in a classroom.
Good luck working on Bruce. It would be great if you too could join us on that cruise. 14 days of Magic,,,,,
Should we twist your arms?????

I know but it seems the schools do not really like us pulling them out..I agree they will learn soo much more on the cruise than in the classroom. We will see I just emailed our TA the info. about our rebooking...I would love to join you all. Bruce, is not that shook on doing five days at sea. Not sure why,, plus he is worried about school. But I am going to continue to "work" on Bruce he is def. considering moving it to then...

Our schools are definately not as stressed out about pulling kids out for vacations, like Alex, our teachers feel travelling is a learning experience and to see European countries!!!

Hi Gina,
OMG I cannot believe there is already another thread started for this already. Were still not completely unpacked yet. I'll have to check it out.
It will be a blast... I like the idea of several days at sea. It give you time to completely relax and unwind on the ship. And time to hang with the other cruisers. I never had enough time on the ship to do everything I wanted to do.
In the next few weeks I will probably research which TA I will switch my ressie too. I will probably stick with my existing (if they give me another 5% off the price like they did last time, plus I can apply my travel rewards to it. Good deal using TD Travel rewards.)

Good point... I did ask DCL to transfer it to my existing simply because of all the travel reward dollar I can apply to it. I will look into it though and if they don't give me what I want I will get Carol's info from ya. Thanks Kristin

I just checked the price for our next cruise and what a difference! This is 600 bucks knocked off!!!!

Hey y'all!! Whazzup!!!
We were out doing some post cruise shopping today and found a Christmas tree for the Pinky's!!!!

Mhmmmm....I love it LOL
The only post cruise shopping we did today was 100 bucks for parking in Detroit, 10 bucks of gas...I love the Caliber! And, into the golden arches for a bite to eat for the rest of the drive. We're missing the awsome food on the ship and DW is asking if there's going to be a towel buddy on our bed tonight when we venture up there....
