Big time win today by BYU...59-0 over UCLA. I actually like both teams though. Countdown is now 20 minutes until my big game tonight USC vs. Ohio State. I am a life time fan of USC!!! Good game by Oregon today also....GOUODUX is happy!!!!!

I gave him four Motrin, that is all he wanted. I found some other stuff and he said he did not want to take it since it was not prescribed for him.. He is weird that way.. It was stuff that had been prescribed for me..

Bring, the ice-cream we have some crisp left... Here is the recipe I used. This week I am going to try the recipe Nancy emailed me last night....

Quick Apple Crisp


5 Granny Smith apples (about 6 cups)
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1 package (9 ounces) yellow cake mix
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Vanilla ice cream or thawed, frozen whipped topping (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel, core and slice apples. Cut apples in half crosswise. Place apples in a deep dish baker.

2. Microwave butter on HIGH 60 seconds or until melted. Chop nuts. Add nuts, cake mix, sugar and cinnamon to bowl; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.

3. Bake 35-40 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, or whipped topping, if desired.

Yield: 10 servings or 20 sample servings

Nutrients per serving: Calories 240, Total Fat 12 g, Saturated Fat 3.5 g, Cholesterol 13 mg, Carbohydrate 34 g, Protein 2 g, Sodium 220 mg, Fiber 2 g

Steve is a "sort of" OSU Alum. He went to school there for one semester, partied his way out of school and went home to go to a community college. He got his degree in criminal justice but then decided he could make more money selling drugs, then catching drug dealers! He will probably turn the game on when he gets home.

Hey Michele,,

The kids are asleep and Bruce and I are in bed watching T.V... I feel like I am the one who has a hurt leg. I have to get up early tomorrow to go to a Baptism in the morning (early..) Bruce,, obviouslly isn't going and the kids do not want to go. I just am not sure if I should leave the kids home alone with Bruce. They promised,, me that they will be good. I am thinking I should just maybe go to the service and then come home????? Honestly, I am soo tired I really do not feel like going at all!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone. I didn't get a chance to get on tonight because Merkie came home from her Dad's and announced that she had not started her homework. I was so upset. She had more than normal for a weekend and I told both them that she had to do half Friday night and we would finish the rest up tonight. Oh well! Once again Daddy does not her do anything she doesn't want to do. This is the only time her Daddy and I have words. She has absolutely no rules at his house and he will not make her do anything. I always have to be the bad guy. Anyway, we have done three hours of homework tonight. She just went to bed and I think I am close behind her.

This just in.......MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake
Will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
Turn clean mug over it if you don’t eat it all to keep fresh.

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

*Be sure for extra pleasure to have vanilla ice cream or cool whip on hand.

A few notes I found to be helpful:

Mix the cake in a small bowl .
Lightly spray the mug with Pam.
Pour the cake mixture in the Mug.
Follow the above directions for baking.

I added 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans and stirred real well but as the cake baked all of the pecans came to the top.

I laid the cake down on the side and sliced it in round pieces. It was enough to serve four people with about an ¾ inch slice. Good with a cup of coffee.
