Oh, now, don't go blaming it on the big man! LOL we are all just as guilty. I guess it has to do with things like, we are better set financially then our parents were, we want better for our kids then we had, oh, what's ONE MORE TOY!? My kids are SO lucky. We rarely took vacation and the ones I remember, were where we rented a cabin at a beach in Michigan and spent the week there. We never ate out. A Disney Vacation? that would have been unheard of. I think my mom made my clothes until I was in Jr High, and I remember BEGGING her to BUY me blue jeans, not to make them for me. I had to walk to school. In the winter, my mom would put bread bags on my feet if my boots had a hole in them to keep my feet dry. You didn't get a new pair until the new season. We are so very blessed.
