This just in.......MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake
Will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
Turn clean mug over it if you don’t eat it all to keep fresh.

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

*Be sure for extra pleasure to have vanilla ice cream or cool whip on hand.

A few notes I found to be helpful:

Mix the cake in a small bowl .
Lightly spray the mug with Pam.
Pour the cake mixture in the Mug.
Follow the above directions for baking.

I added 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans and stirred real well but as the cake baked all of the pecans came to the top.

I laid the cake down on the side and sliced it in round pieces. It was enough to serve four people with about an ¾ inch slice. Good with a cup of coffee.

A few years ago, a local basketball team sold this but they were in little jars. All the dry ingredients were in the jar when you bought it and you added the wet ingredients. These things sold like crazy. I bought several and gave to people as little gifts at birthdays, etc.

It is actually a plant, and it only produces 1 fruit at a time, and only produces 2 or 3 good fruits in it's lifetime. It takes about 18 months to make it's first fruit, and then 8 to 12 months each for the 2nd and 3rd. If you didn't notice in the picture, that plant was planted in October 2003. It is 5 years old, and that is the first fruit!!! So you can imagine how large pineapple plantations are!!!!!:

Wow, I didn't know that it took so long. After the plant produces it's third fruit, does it just die, or do you have to dig it up and carry away? You've waited five years for that pineapple. That's even longer than we have all waited on this cruise.

I can't remember who wanted the Pocohantas Costume, but at Downtown Disney, in the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique (spelling?) they have all the Disney costumes, or did when we were last there.

Kristin...I am praying that Bruce wakes up with his leg feeling so much better today.

Michelle...we have a friend who is a drug rep and he makes the same joke about making more money selling drugs than fighting them. We all give him a really hard time, just joking of course.

We spent the day shopping for something we didn't find. DW is determined to take back the livingroom so she and the kidles spent time clearing the toys and takingthem back upstairs to their rooms. We'll find the shelf unit at some point! Heck we will even get the kitchen table set we bought at some point, even if they have to find the house it was delivered too accidently

We're suppose to go the the capitol building tomorrow in Nashville for the Daughters of the American Revolution Constitution Week Bell Ringing. It officially starts Wednesday, but the State DAR has a kickoff the Sunday before. I've been invited to talk on the local radio station Monday morning to discuss Constitution Week and our local involvement. I won't sleep tomorrow night for worrying. However, it's suppose to rain here tomorrow and I told my mom that I wasn't going to stand in the rain to ring a bell. If it does rain, she and I are going to a bridal shower. It never stops around here.

Most defantely keep him on his butt. If you have any kinda weather like were having today is suppose to rain rain rain. Good tv watching day for Bruce. I'm sure the girls will take good care of him.

Yeah,, it is raining and pretty yucky here.. I'm trying to convince the girls to come with me and they do not want to go... He is reading the paper now so he is kind of resting too!!!!!!!!!!!
