Just got the girls packed and ready to go!!!! Since they are not going to check any bags, we had to go to the store to get 3oz stuff to put in a ziploc bag!!!!!

Pretty close, but we about never go unless we're visiting my parents up in DE

As close as we are to VA Beach we really don't care much for it.

I've never been to Virginia Beach, but I want to go there and start down and drive all the way through the Outer Banks. I love old light houses. I want to stop at every single one of them down through there. Have you ever made the drive? I was just wondering realisticly how long it would take to do it comfortably. Also, if I did it during off season, could I get by without making hotel reservations? If I stumbled upon some place I really liked, I would like to linger instead of having to rush to make it to our next hotel before dark. Do you know what I mean?

Hey, that's Bobby the Banana!! We cruised with him on the WB Repo. He was everywhere.


We learned last night that Jenna will be performing with her dance company on February 23rd at Disneyland!!

Dang, now we HAVE to go to Disneyland

Well we've driven to the Outerbanks of course. Its so easy to do from our house. We have not yet gone all the way to the end of them though. When we were dating we went down quite a ways. If you do it offseason, you should be able to just hit most any hotel and grab a room if you want to stop for the night.

Great! Do you think one full week would do it, say during October (that's when Merkie gets fall break)? We did Myrtle Beach last year during fall break and it was still warm and the water felt great.

trying to help Sean figure out how to draw the creature he imagined for Critter college! This class is called Habitat Sweet Habitat, and he has to create a habitat for a creature of his choice. Trust Sean to decide to create his OWN creature instead of going with a REAL animal! Sheesh... and he STILL has to come up with a realistic habitat for it, AND draw a picture of the creature to go IN to the habitat!

This creature has the head of a snake, the legs of an ocelot, has two tails, one like a crocodile and the other is prehensile (wraps around trees like a monkey and has spikes!) and is about 4 ft tall and is a carnivore! It lives in the tropical rainforest and is called a Boordock.

Other kids have chosen nice simple creatures, like Orca's, or hedgehogs! LOL!

I am at CI&S. the reservation I had to cancel was for the cruise we pusjed back from last year.

We are at CI&S as well, wed through friday nights anyway. Staying in Titusville tuesday night so we can hopefully see the launch since last time I checked it was at 1:30 am!!!!! NOT telling the boys, JUST in case it gets scrapped!

Oh we are working on the habitat in class tomorrow, he is just working on drawing the picture of the creature tonight so we can cut it out and bring it in. Sadly he has to miss the last day of class on friday since we are driving to Missoula to see Kaj in his Drama camp production of HISTORY of the WORLD!!!! Hard to believe it has been nearly 2 weeks since we dropped him off!

Sounds like a fun week. Don't you just love to watch your children perform. Merkie is on the school Speech Team and ends up with a part in very school play. I've never really thought about Drama Camp. She has two Art Camps that she attends every summer. She is really good at drawing.
